It finally feels like winter has actually arrived. It’s been bitterly cold this morning as I write this blog. However, I’m accompanied by the most beautiful morning sky. Simply stunning.
The garden has had early morning frost these last few days, and the car has been thick with ice. All that’s missing is icicles, but you don’t seem to see them much these days. I remember as a little boy the icicles hanging from our guttering – they were the size of carrots!
I’m not sure if we’re expecting snow? This is the last snowman we made… several years ago. In case you’re wondering, that is a little piece of broccoli for a hat!

That’s a stunning sky! Mind you depending on where you live in the UK it’s not the first feel of winter!! You’re right about icicles though! As for Valentine’s Day, that’s only for couples! Could do without!

Not been on your blog for a while….sorry. I always read though.
This time last year we had snow and ice. This year the weather is all over the place [ as it is all over the world ]. Beautiful sun rise though [ don’t they say though red sky in the morning, shepherds warning !!! ].
Unfortunately Valentines Day is just another day for me now.
