Happy New Year to one and all!

I’m sure we’ve all said it but let me reiterate everyone’s sentiments, I really hope it’s a better year for everyone! I really feel it will be. I have great faith and hope that in just a couple of months things will start to change and by the late spring/early summer, hopefully life will feel pretty good again.

I don’t want to dwell at all on the happenings of 2020 because for most, it was a bit of a wash out. What I would like to do is focus on the best of what QVC UK offered and my top five favourite personal purchases of the year.

1. Dyson Corrale Hair Straightener

It just had to be the latest launch from Dyson haircare, the Corrale, saying bye, bye to excessive heat and hello to cord-free flexible plates. This was the most awarded straightener in the haircare industry during 2020 and features innovative flexing plates that help you style your hair efficiently with less heat, working to reduce frizz and smooth out flyaways. It also boasts a cordless design for hands-free versatility and intelligent heat control so you can style and smooth your hair effortlessly. Maybe you have some Christmas money and your local hairdresser is out of bounds for now… why not give it a whirl?

2. Elemis Pro Collagen Eye Revive Mask

A surprise newcomer from skincare powerhouses Elemis blew me away with its results. The new Pro Collagen Eye Revive Mask is formulated to help keep skin looking plump, firm and hydrated, while working to smooth the look of fine lines. It contains antioxidant-rich watermelon snow algae, padina pavonica, bush clover and hyaluronic acid. I noticed instant results after one application and have used it under and over make-up, morning and night. We also have it as part of this duo at QVC UK, with the gorgeous Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm in rose aromatic and cloths. I now won’t be without this amazing mask because the skin around my eyes looks so much firmer and my crows feet are visibly smoother.

3. Hollywood Browzer Dermaplaning Kit

So simple and affordable at just £12.00 (plus P&P), get this duo whilst you can. These simple tools use dermaplaning to exfoliate away the top layer of your skin and reduce the appearance of peach fuzz, while encouraging the look of brighter, smoother, softer skin, plus deals with unwanted hairs on the face.

4. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Multi-Recovery Complex

One of the newest beauty brands to join QVC UK in 2020 was skincare giant, Estée Lauder. I was desperate to try their Advanced Night Repair Multi-Recovery Complex after hearing it being raved about by industry insiders. A fast-absorbing serum with an oil-free texture to suit all skin types and concerns, it’s formulated to help reduce visible signs of ageing and environmental effects, while working to promote a smoother and more radiant complexion. It’s been a game changer for my skin!

5. Dune Double Buckle Boots

The footwear we offer at QVC UK is excellent and suits so many with the varied brands, styles and price points. During 2020, we welcomed Dune to the family. I purchased a pair of Double Buckle Boots from them, with a small heel, in Black. Sadly they are now sold out but I love them and even outside of work I never have them off my feet. They are so unbelievably comfortable and stylish, and I always get compliments. Check out the whole Dune selection on our website as many are currently on sale.
