Hello!
I know I mention (a lot!) how time seems to be flying, but seriously, where is the month of September disappearing to? I’m losing track of time right now… Christmas is starting to feel very close isn’t it?
I recently mentioned how all the DIY is going on hold for the foreseeable future in the Brook household. I don’t want to see another paint brush just yet, over the last six months we’ve decorated the bathroom, bedroom, landing, stairs and hallway. One room left to do, but that can wait. We need to get new carpet down at some point as well on the stairs and landing… I think it was once cream in colour!? Although we have a shoes off policy when heading upstairs – Cairn terriers struggle to follow that rule!
On the subject of making a nice home, you may have noticed on the QVC homepage our Love Your Home feature which we have just launched. Lots of fabulous ideas and suggestions to help make a house feel more like a home. From kitchen to bedroom and so much in between. I really like the image we’ve used on our homepage but my Cairns are a tad disappointed they weren’t chosen for the photo shoot! Maybe next time?
I’m really looking forward to being on air with the Kelly Hoppen throw Today’s Special Value, which I’m launching this coming Monday 21st September at 9pm. It will also feature throughout the Love Your Home event, the following day (stock permitting). It’s set to be a fabulous day with shows from the likes of Yankee Candle, Peony flowers, Cozee Home, and of course, Kelly Hoppen.
Also, you may have heard that we are back, live on QVC Style, Monday to Friday from 3pm ’til 7pm. Catch the shows on Sky and Virgin or if watching on Freeview head to channel 16 and press the red button!
