That’s really kind of you, thank you. I’m glad you enjoy your television – they do look really good! And yes the garden is doing well this year, it’s year three now since we moved and everything I planted is really big and flowering beautifully so I’m very pleased. Thanks for getting in touch.

Hi Anne,
Yes that’s a really good idea – you will see lots of cotton/modal etc fabrics appearing during our menopause shows but I’m not sure if we have the sort of tops you’re talking about. I’ll definitely pass that on.

That’s a great question – as far as I know, from speaking to lots of experts over the past 20 months or so as we have worked on this project, the average age to start perimenopause is 42, and that is when symptoms start.
You are right that menopause is reached when you have been without a period for 12 months – up to that you are perimenopausal. In theory symptoms start to wind down after that but for some people they can go on for many years! Anyway, hopefully lots of questions like that one will be answered during the shows over the coming weeks so do tune in!

Amazing feat Jackie! Hope you are all recovered now. Good idea to do shows on the menopause. I think qvc should do a range of good quality cotton/modal mix t shirts in a variety of sleeve lengths and a choice of round neck and v neck all modestly cut. All block colours and raglan sleeves and on a “ buy more save more “ deal. Often tricky to find a good quality plain colour t shirt in a long raglan sleeve and modest neckline so can wear for work. I am sure they would sell really well

Hi, Jackie. Really looking forward to the menopause programming. I have one question which never gets answered so perhaps you could add it in? People talk about menopause when they really mean peri menopause. So if a woman is menopausal i.e. 12 months have passed since her last period, is that when “menopausal symptoms “ begin or start to wind down? Or continue? If the latter, when do they stop? I know you are very precise so I’m really hoping I’ll get an answer to when symptoms start…at the start of peri menopause, or the start of menopause. Selfishly hoping it’s the former
