Well, there’s no denying that autumn is well and truly here now. Those dark evenings, those chilly mornings, those dull grey days! I’d definitely prefer a bit more daylight and some cold, crisp, bright weather but hey, we live in the UK and this is what we’ve got so we just need to get on with it, eh? And actually, I’m quite fond of cosying up at home.
Since we moved house back in March, we now, for the first time ever, have an open fire at home. We haven’t lit it yet but will do very soon and I can’t wait! I also love a snuggly throw or blanket and one of my favourite QVC home brands Cozee Home is bringing us a wonderful one as a Today’s Special Value offer on Monday 11th November.
The Velvetsoft Filled Throw is a like a duvet for your sofa! With a box quilt design and a faux fur reverse it comes in a choice of seven colours: Charcoal, Mink Grey, Bitter Chocolate, Green, Amethyst, Heather and Ochre. The Ochre is a new colour and as I love all shades of yellow I was given one to try out at home. Here it is on my bed and on the living room sofa – fab, eh?
It’s so warm and snuggly and would make a great Christmas gift too. I also love its practicality – it’s machine washable and quick drying. (And while I’m talking about Cozee Home, have you seen their pet bed? Dog or cat heaven!) 
Anyway, this is just a quickie blog today, apologies. I’m at the hairdressers and have to stop typing in about one minute’s time to have my colour rinsed off! Before I go though, if you’re in or around Gloucestershire on Thursday 14th I’ll be spending the afternoon at Waterstones in Cirencester as part of an author event they are holding that day so do pop in and say hello, it would be lovely to see you!
