It’s 2021 and we’re off with a New Year! I know it’s sometimes hard to find something to look forward to, but I try to be a glass half full kinda guy and here at the Q, I’m surrounded by positive people which I’m very grateful for.
The Morning Show is my ‘home’ at QVC and I love the variety of all the guests and products. The only problem with hearing about all the great deals is that I, like many of you, feel the urge to buy.
With all the gyms closed for the foreseeable future, I succumbed to the lure of the Big Deal from Orbitrek. I pre-recorded the video a little while ago and I was intrigued by it, but as we only had one in the studio I wasn’t allowed to try it. Heck, I’ve got a 60 day money back guarantee, so I ordered it!
Here I am in a saintly fashion, hard at work! I have to say it is very different from anything I’ve every used before, and because of its unique elliptical pattern… OMG – it’s challenging! 10 minutes is a burn for me (and before lockdown I would do 40mins on the cross trainer at a high level and without too much difficulty).
I should say that’s on the first setting, and it goes to 7! My daughter is using it for her home schooling PE lessons and my wife is threatening to hop on for a try too.
Life is pretty challenging for us all at the moment and although I don’t make resolutions, I’m going to do my best to be kind to as many people as I can, because that is what, I think, we all need right now.
While there is so much to worry about, I’ll leave you with a quote from Michel de Montaigne (1580):
“My life has been full of terrible misfortunes, most of which never happened.”
