Elephants in London!

I’ve been spending a lot of time in the capital lately, mainly because there’s so much happening at QVC with various projects, but it’s also given me the opportunity to enjoy some long walks around London with Steve and Archie.

We recently went to see an amazing herd of life-sized elephant sculptures in Green Park, they are there to promote the coexistence of humans and wildlife. It was surreal to see them in one of London’s royal parks, pretty moving too!

Sadly, the elephants are temporary. Have a look online, but I believe they are only around until the 23rd July. It’s well worth checking out though if you live nearby.

Still to come… Archie on the river and Elemis!

But first… coming up on Friday 23rd July, we’ll be launching a Today’s Special Value from Luxform, it’s the 3D Effect Pyramid Lantern (product number 813022). This special offer is pre-lit with rotating LED lights and features a special effect that has glowing and moving 3D stars or fireflies. It’s perfect for all year round, you can enjoy a beautiful light show inside or outside, whatever the season.

Archie absolutely loves going for a walk along the River Thames. When the tide is out, he can dash around on the sandy banks, it’s makes him VERY happy, he goes bonkers!

Of course, after all that running around, this was his pose for the rest of the afternoon. I’ve added a little ‘modesty emoji’ haha!

On Saturday 24th July, the experts at KitchenAid will be bringing their Mini Food Processor to QVC as a Today’s Special Value (product number 809584). It features a multi-purpose stainless steel blade for chopping, mixing and pureeing ingredients.

I love the size; it can just sit out on your kitchen counter and then be quickly grabbed for everyday cooking. We get through a lot of homemade hummus in our house, so this is ideal for that. By the way, if you have any recipes that you’d like to share with everyone, please comment at the bottom of this blog. It would be great to swap ideas!

And finally… The Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Nourish & Glow Collection will be available at QVC from Saturday 17th July until the end of Sunday 25th July – or until stocks last! Simply click here.

The collection features the BRAND NEW Wildflower Cleansing Oil, plus Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil, a trio of rose-scented body care formulas and you then your choice between Pro-Collagen Marine Cream or Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Ultra-Rich – exciting!!!

As always, you can catch up with me over on my Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Plus, of course feel free to message me on this blog and I’ll get back to you asap.

See you soon,

Will x

  3. Hi Will

Great blog, what a magnificent sight of the herd of elephants, thanks for sharing. Also very pleased to see you more on QVC main channel and on Style as a presenter, always thought your talents weren’t utilised enough!

Can I ask what breed is your gorgeous dog Archie? I am looking to buy a dog of his size.

    Many thanks, Ruth Mansfield

    1. Hi Ruth,

Thank you very much for your kind message, it’s been lovely doing lots of different shows lately, I’ve been learning lots.

Archie is a Cavapoo, a cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Poodle breeds. Bless him, this warmer weather is not his friend, we’re giving him plenty of cool treats right now.

      Take care,

      Will x

  5. Hi Will

I just wanted to thank you for posting the elephant pictures. I had seen an odd celebrity photographed with one individual elephant but had no idea there was a herd! I told my daughter about the exhibit and she and her husband took my twin grandchildren down to London at 7.30 am, parked in Berkeley Square where the children (aged 9) were able to view and sketch a small herd, then on to Green Park to see the rest of the herd. A wonderful surprise morning was had by the whole family before London ‘woke up’, then back home for the afternoon.

I have purchased a print for them from the Co-existence Charity, for whom the exhibit was mounted, as a memory of an incredible day with the elephants.

    1. Hi there Jackie,

Oh that’s so lovely to read, I’m very pleased your family were able to enjoy them, they really are beautiful.

Great that you have purchased a print too, it’s one of those unusual exhibits that rarely happens, so wonderful to have something to remember it by.

Take care and thank you very much for getting in touch!
