Hello! I hope you\u2019re all well.<\/p>\n

Finally, it\u2019s March! My favourite month of the year, because it\u2019s my birthday this month, and also Mother\u2019s Day. A double whammy of treats!<\/p>\n

After January felt like it had 509867 days in it, the next part of the year seems to be flying by!<\/p>\n

We survived half term \u2013 just! I took the kids and some friends to the London Science Museum, which is always fun.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

If you follow me on social, you will have seen that I grew some weird lump on my knee \u2013 it wasn\u2019t pretty \u2013 I won\u2019t subject you to a photo here!<\/p>\n

Anyway, they did an MRI and thankfully nothing sinister and they drained it. Which didn\u2019t hurt at all, for anyone that has this procedure lined up, but it\u2019s pretty gross! I had to wear a very dramatic bandage for a few days, but got zero sympathy from the kids!<\/p>\n\"\"\n

Anyway, I\u2019m back on form now, which is great as I need to get to work in the garden. It took a bit of a battering when we had the building work done and some of our fence fell in the storm so I\u2019m hoping to get stuck in any day now!<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve got my eye on these plants \u2013<\/p>\n

Some hardy Gladioli <\/a><\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

Malva collection<\/a><\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

And some dahlias<\/a><\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n

But I have to tell you, the most terrifying and amazing thing is happening to me this weekend\u2026 If you\u2019ve been reading my blogs for a while, you will know last year, I found my half-sister. Same dad, different mum. We haven\u2019t seen each other in 34 years! On Friday I jump on a plane and travel to Portugal where she lives, to meet her.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m so nervous!!! Weirdly I\u2019m fixated on what to wear! I don\u2019t want her to think I\u2019m a scruff, but I don\u2019t want to be too dressy! Isn\u2019t it silly the things we worry about!? As if she\u2019ll care! LOL!<\/p>\n

She works for an airline and recently sent me this pic \u2013 they had laid on a special flight for refugees and these were two beautiful refugee children arriving safely.<\/p>\n\"\"\n

I\u2019ll of course let you know how it goes.<\/p>\n
