{"id":92440,"date":"2020-01-21T09:59:14","date_gmt":"2020-01-21T09:59:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.qvcuk.com\/?p=91147"},"modified":"2020-02-07T09:50:53","modified_gmt":"2020-02-07T09:50:53","slug":"stay-well-satiated-and-warm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stories.qvcuk.com\/presenters\/dale-franklin\/stay-well-satiated-and-warm\/","title":{"rendered":"Stay well satiated and warm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I hope all is well&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u2026I know I still can&#8217;t believe it&#8217;s 2020 either or that we&#8217;re already at the end of January!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve had some beautiful cold evenings recently at home and I grabbed this pick of a starlit sky using a long exposure on my iPhone!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stories.qvcuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/stars1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-91153 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/stories.qvcuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/stars1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"795\" height=\"530\" \/><\/a>Needless to say my shaggy dogs have been enjoying the colder weather too and here I\u2019m pictured with Ellie sharing a secret on a recent walk.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stories.qvcuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ellie-walk1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-91152 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/stories.qvcuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ellie-walk1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"795\" height=\"530\" \/><\/a>I was due to be presenting the first Andi Peters&#8217; Food Fest show of the year on Monday but as I&#8217;m sure many of you may have heard Piers Morgan say on Good Morning Britain, Andi managed to get shingles and had to cancel a few TV appearances, including his two hour Monday show with myself. I have spoken a couple of times with Andi and I&#8217;m pleased to say he&#8217;s making a good recovery from what I understand is a very painful experience and we all wish him well in his recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Andi and his team are hopeful of a swift return to our screens and who knows, he may even be able to join me this Thursday as we have a wonderful Today&#8217;s Special Value (TSV) from The Real Pie Company!<\/p>\n<p>Co-founder Brett Hornby and his team have come up with three mouth-watering choices for us in the form of a 10 piece Steak, Chicken or Vegetarian selection!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stories.qvcuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/809454e.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-91151 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/stories.qvcuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/809454e.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"795\" height=\"530\" \/><\/a>The Real Pie Company prides itself on their pies being &#8220;crammed to the crust&#8221; and the Sussex-based company have won many awards for their pies and pasties.<\/p>\n<p>I have listed the pies below and regular Real Pie Co. customers will notice that there are some new flavours that Brett, in conjunction with our buyers, has developed. I was sent a selection of Chicken and Steak pies and immediately sampled three of them (see short video).
