Hi everyone,

And so another week has passed in this strange “new normal” world. So many people seem to be using their extra spare time to do more cooking and cake baking (I keep seeing photos of banana bread all over social media for some reason!). I am not – I am absolutely the worst cook in the world and, although I adore food, I have no real interest in creating it. And on that note, I was sorting through some old videos on my laptop the other day and came across this.

It’s about six years old, so from my early days at QVC, and it was around Christmas time when we had a kitchen sale show. Simon Brown, our lovely kitchen gadget expert, was around for the beginning and the end of the hour, but somebody had the marvellous idea that I could present the bulk of the hour by myself. ME, presenting a solo kitchen show! Needless to say it didn’t go very well, and this video shows a condensed five minutes from nearly an hour of torture for me. Fortunately, I’ve never had to do it again (you won’t be surprised to hear!).
