We’ve creeped into September, how did that happen? We are racing through 2020, which many of us will be pretty pleased about. This year we’ve faced lots of challenges, we’ve all been affected in lots of different ways and I’m no different – it’s been a tricky year at times. So, I tried to find something that I could change and improve about me.

My back has been giving me grief for years, tightness and stiffness has plagued me, and nobody could get to the bottom of it. So I decided to really focus on putting things right because I was only getting worse and some days I’d be in agony. I find it amazing that when you really put your mind to something, when you prioritise it, you start to see or feel results. I’ve operated a holistic approach to help improve my back and started a good few months ago. I’ve been seeing a chiropractor once a week or fortnight, practised yoga and did lots of stretching and foam rolled daily. What a difference it’s made! Honestly, I feel like a new person. I’ve got more energy and when I wake up, I feel refreshed instead of stiff.

Now I really wish the Gtech MYO Touch Massage Foldable Bed was a Today’s Special Value (TSV) at the start of my back improvement journey because it’s wonderful. It offers an at-home massage every day if you need it or would benefit from it and not only does it help to loosen and flex your back, it also gives you a space to relax and reflect (maybe even meditate). Maybe this is the icing on the cake to creating your very own spa experience.

""

I already practice breathing and visualisation techniques so everything could be combined and condensed into one 15-minute session on the MYO Touch. Used at the end of a stressful day, I really believe this has the ability to calm us down and can be used in preparation for sleep. One of the best things about it is its simplicity, no touch screens or complicated programmes, just firm massage on tap when you need it – you don’t even have to make an appointment! Always remember to invest in yourself.
