Will Gowing catches up with TV Presenter and QVC Ambassador, Ruth Langsford, to celebrate the third anniversary of her fashion range and also talk all things Christmas!
Hi Ruth, just a quick message to let you know that your petite leg lengths are way of the mark. I do not know any petite person with an inside leg of 29″.
The market today even the high street does not cater for petite people. I am only 4.8″ tall and I would have to chop off at least 4″ fro the legs of your trousers
The petite length is in line with the British high street and is a commercial standard used to cover 4’11-5’3.
We will take on board your feedback and will revisit the standard for the petite lengths on trousers in the range.
Loved your podcast Ruth. I went to Pompeii with my 2 sons as a treat for my 70th birthday 2 years ago, it was great. It’s a shame that people who’ve had special birthdays this year have missed out, but it will have to be delayed celebrations.
Lockdown has given me eye strain from too many computer games so I’ve had to turn to podcasts. It’s a new outlet that doesn’t affect the eyes. Glad your clothes range is doing so well.
Just listened to Ruth’s pod cast. It is brilliant. I have lots of Ruth’s styles they are perfect for me. I am 71 but like to think I am about 55. The fabrics in the range are really good and the finish also exceptional. These are quality clothes which is exactly what I want. Looking forward to the parka!!
I watch Ruth’s shows quite often and like a lot of the items. I have not purchased anything yet; I am 5′ 1″ tall and most of the tops in her ranges are too long in the body for me. Would it be possible to include some Petite items please and then I may take the plunge. I know there are petite length trousers but tops and dresses are not in proportion to my body size.
We currently do not offer petite tops in the range but will review this, and thank you for your feedback.
We have started to introduce petite lengths in dresses and jumpsuits, and this is something we plan to continue to offer in the range going forward.
