We caught up with her to chat about her favourite sunny-day make-up looks and what we might find in her beauty bag this season. Time to take notes…
What does your typical summer beauty routine look like?
Everything goes a bit darker foundation-wise in my typical summer beauty routine, but most days I actually prefer using a tinted moisturiser like the Nude Finish Tinted Moisturiser from Bobbi Brown. I like the feeling of lightness this brings.
What is your favourite kind of summer make-up look?
I still wear eyelashes and a good lipgloss but I suppose I go more heavy on the bronzer and highlighter, as my body is quite brown and my face needs to match it! I always wear a hat in the summer when I’m reading out in the sunshine.
What are your top five summer beauty recommendations?
My top five at the moment have to be:
I love the gorgeous natural glow this bronzer gives and it’s a staple in my beauty bag all year round for that healthy, sun-kissed complexion.

What I like about this highlighter is that it comes in a liquid drop formula which makes it easy to apply to the skin. It really illuminates the face and gives a radiant, smooth appearance.
3. Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation & Brush by Tarte
This is a lovely lightweight liquid foundation for the summer that still gives full coverage while maintaining hydration – perfect for the warmer weather when skin can feel drier.
4. Pro-Collagen Rose Hydro Mist by Elemis
With my early morning starts for radio my make-up can sometimes dry out by the end of the day so I like to keep this hydrating mist handy in my bag to refresh my makeup and give my skin a little boost.
5. Gen Nude Buttercream Lipgloss by Bareminerals
Nude lipgloss is a must-have for that everyday look. I like to wear this moisturising gloss for a natural, balmy coverage.
