Hydrating heroes

“As the skin heads towards menopause, the amount of oil being produced slows down, so it’s important to keep the skin as hydrated as possible. Including ingredients in your routine that can deliver the hydration to keep the skin looking bright and energised will help to maintain that moisture balance.”

This kit features Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm, enriched with padina pavonica and English Rose Olio extract to help remove excess oil and impurities without stripping skin, plus Pro-Collagen Energising Cleanser with its luxe gel texture and Superfood Vital Veggie Mask, which boasts a smoothie-inspired texture packed with avocado and chia seed oil to help soften skin and lock in moisture.

Time to de-stress

“Menopause can affect the emotions and your overall wellness with poor sleep quality and a busy mind. These two products can help calm the mind when anxiety and overthinking start to impact on your wellbeing by creating the perfect environment and pre-sleep rituals”.

If you find it a struggle to unwind in the evening then the De-Stress Massage Oil is packed with aromatherapy oils including rosewood, Melissa, marjoram, geranium, rosemary and the classic, sleep-inducing combination of lavender and chamomile. You can really reap the calming benefits while practising abdominal breathing. You’ll also find Calming Space Spray, enriched with lavender, chamomile and geranium to spritz around your bedroom, living room or living space to help keep things calm.

Soothe tired muscles

“Sometimes we start to feel that our energy and mobility is not as it was and the smaller tasks leave us aching. This is a great duo to help unwind the body and mind. It’s also great to use pre-workout or to indulge with at the end of a busy day, by soothing tired muscles”.

Fatigue can affect how our body feels but also how alert we feel mentally and emotionally. Taking time to recharge using a product like Aching Muscle Super Soak will bring some much-needed clarity, plus the gorgeous scent of clove, rosemary and thyme is instantly soothing. In this kit you’ll also find the Musclease Active Body Concentrate, a fast-absorbing oil to help bring a feeling of lightness to tired limbs, infused with an uplifting fragrance of maritime pine, sea buckthorn, sea fennel and rosemary.

Keeping it cool

“When the body overheats in menopause, the skin can feel tacky, while hot sweats can leave you feeling uncomfortable. Adding these products are a great way to refresh the body, skin and mind”.

After a hot flush, you may be desperate to jump in the shower – and the Cool-Down Body Wash is an excellent option. Magnesium, arnica, Montana flower extract and ultra-cooling menthol make up the refreshing formula, while the juniper, rosemary, lavender, thyme and eucalyptus fragrance will effortlessly lift your spirits. For targeted relief (and a beautifully uplifting texture), try the Instant Refreshing Gel infused with arnica and camphor.

As we approach menopause and oestrogen levels drop, the look and feel of our skin can change. That lit-from-within radiance we may take for granted can dissipate as collagen levels dip too. This collection helps to add a dewy glow with iconic Pro-Collagen and Superfood formulas you’ll love.”

A gentle approach

“As hormones change through menopause, the skin can start to react differently and sensitivity can occur suddenly, reacting out the blue to products, food and even our environment. These three skin saviours can really help to get your skin back on track”.

Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm is an industry icon for a reason as it’s so effective for removing make-up and impurities, plus it makes a wonderful weekly treatment for stressed or reactive skin. Sensitive Wash is another great option as it’s been developed specifically for dry and sensitive skin types. It purifies without stripping skin and it has a lovely milky texture too. The final product in the kit is the Herbal Lavender Repair Mask, which has a clay texture to decongest skin and bring it back to balance.
