Hi Pam, I’ve never seen the Grand Canyon but yes I think you’re right in that it has a similar feel. Utah was just stunningly beautiful. And yes the race went well, thank you!

I went on hols to Canada a few years back and went through the Rockies. We were trying to spot bears and one man in our party thought he had seen one. Turned out it was a large dog. He was teased so much every time we saw another dog we yelled “ hey, Dave look a bear!” Happy days!
