Oh Betty that did make me laugh! So glad it’s not just me. I do love rhubarb though so hopefully you’ll have more success next time! I can’t wait to eat some of our veg patch offerings…I will keep you posted!

I have a small patch in the garden where I grow rhubarb and potatoes .Looking forward to the potatoes in about four weeks. The rhubarb has been there a while and last week I thought I would make a crumble.Disaster I was straining it and dropped the colander spilling half the rhubarb into the sink!! I put the rest into a smaller dish and sprinkled a packet of crumble over it. The colour seemed a bit strange but I shoved it in the oven getting fed up with it by this stage. When I got it out. It was a mess .What I thought was crumble was dumpling mix the lot went in the bin.You see Jackie you ‘re not the only one prefers not to cook .xxx

After hearing Ruth Langsford say how good it was last night on her fashion edit, I downloaded a copy of The Perfect Couple. Oh my word I’ve just finished it( took me less than 24 hrs). It’s so good, I couldn’t put it down. Congratulations can’t wait for the sequel.
