Are you ready to inject more fun and colour into your wardrobe? Because singer and TV personality Brenda Edwards is here to help you do it, as she showcases pieces from some of her favourite QVC brands in the Brenda Edwards Style show. First airing at 8pm – 9pm this Thursday (9th June), it’s one to watch for the latest fashion ideas, brought to you in a passionate and engaging way.

We recently caught up with Brenda to find out more about it and the inspirational woman herself.

Hi Brenda, we’re very excited about the Style show! Are you looking forward to getting started?

“I’m very excited to get started on my Style show. I’ve been keeping the secret of joining the QVC family since mid-2021 and I’m really looking forward to helping to boost the confidence of the viewers with my style.”

What can viewers expect from the show?

“You can expect to hear some stories of the challenges that I have faced over the years shopping for what I want and how I overcome them, which isn’t always easy. I want to show how to have fun with fashion and not be scared to go for it with colour and print. I will be putting outfits together from head-to-toe, to achieve that complete look.”

What are some of your favourite QVC fashion brands?

“Some of my favourites from QVC include Julien Macdonald, Phase Eight, Helene Berman, Denim & Co. and Du Jour. I’m also a bit of a magpie and love shiny things, so naturally I’m attracted to the Diamonique range and of course, my dear friend and fellow Loose Women colleague, Ruth Langsford (to name a few).”

Are there any designs you’ve got your eye on at the minute?

“I have been wearing a lot of Kim & Co – I have an outfit for every event. I love the comfortable cut and feel of their garments.”

Where does your love of fashion come from?

“When I was younger, I wanted to do two things – to attend performing arts school and to make my own clothes to wear. I always knew I wanted to do something creative and music and fashion go hand in hand beautifully. I used to draw up little outfit ideas for when I was performing and I would save up my money and ask a friend to make them up for me. I loved the fact that no one else had my outfit on if I went out on that stage and really enjoyed creating my own pieces back then.

For me, it’s about how I feel when wearing my clothes. I always want to feel confident and happy when I step outside, and how I look naturally assists that. And a nice bit of jewellery is a bonus to give my outfit that sprinkle of sparkle! I love to find the right accessories for my clothes with a beautiful jewellery set.”

We often see you in fabulous jumpsuits, what do you like about jumpsuits especially?

“My staple piece in my wardrobe is the jumpsuit. I like to wear jumpsuits for ease, and you don’t have to always think about what top goes with what bottom, or if the dress is dressy enough or long enough. The jumpsuit can be effortless. I used to think that I had skinny ankles, so didn’t tend to wear many dresses. In my mind, I wanted to cover my ankles up as much as possible and jumpsuits, trousers or jeans would do just that.”

You also know how to rock vibrant colours and bold prints! Do you have any tips on how to wear them?

“I always used to wear black. Bold colour and prints were the last thing you would see me in, and then when I went through cancer and chemotherapy, I wanted to do something to give me a pick-me-up and restore my confidence in my body after undergoing surgery. I realised that wearing colours and prints would really make me smile and feel empowered in my clothes. My advice is to just try introducing a little pop of colour and print here and there to start with. I admit that my wardrobe is predominantly bold colours, prints and sparkles now!”

Do you have a favourite print?

“I’m more into geometric prints than animal ones, and I do love a polka dot too.”

It’s all about summer styling right now, so do you have any go-to’s when dressing for a warm day?

“When dressing for a warm day it’s all about comfort, so a lightweight flare jumpsuit, with a nice wedge or pump for comfort in the feet. I’d usually put my hair in a ponytail, showing off my hoop earrings, with a matching chain and bangle maybe, and a bag big enough to hold my little bolero for later should the weather change, which in the UK it usually does!”

Lastly, if there was one item from your wardrobe you couldn’t be without, what would it be?

“I guess really the one item from my wardrobe that I couldn’t be without would be my standard black jumpsuit as it’s suitable for all occasions. Some things don’t change!”

Thanks so much Brenda!

To watch the Brenda Edwards Style show, tune in to QVC Live at 8pm this Thursday. In the meantime, get a sneak peak of what Brenda’s loving and shop the styles on our website here.

The season of sunshine, socialising and sangria is nearly here! So we thought we’d turn our attention to our summer fashion range and how you can use it to create a capsule wardrobe.

The idea behind a capsule wardrobe is to choose a few versatile quality pieces that you can mix and match to your heart’s content. This premise works especially well for summertime, when we’d all rather be spending long evenings outdoors rather than frantically trying to put together an outfit that matches for the next day. With tips from QVC Stylist, Laura Johnson, and some of our favourite fashion finds, we’ll have you creating a capsule summer wardrobe like a pro.

Pick a printed skirt

First up, Laura tells us, “printed skirts are a must this summer and can be worn casually with a pair of pumps or with a pair of mules for an evening out”. You can see this trend popping up from many of the fashion brands here at QVC right now, with the likes of this eye-catching floral print skirt by Kim & Co and the gorgeous sunflower print Auriel skirt from Joules recently arriving.

We’re going to put this printed skort from Cuddl Dudds in the mix here too, as an excellent alternative for those wanting the comfort and security of shorts but with all the style of a chic summer skirt. They’re a good choice for those more active days too, teamed with a pair of trainers and any casual tee.

Grab a go-to pair of bottoms

Seeing as we don’t live in what anyone would describe as a tropical climate, there’s a good chance we can wear trousers (or even jeans) year-round. But what you can do for summer is to swap the classic blue or black hue for something a little brighter! Laura recommends, “a neutral white pair of trousers or jeans – they’re an essential summer must-have to freshen up any look.”

These cropped jeans from Joules are a good go-to for lunches out, strolls along the seaside and more. Try pairing them with navy for a nautical nod. We’re also loving these wide leg palazzo trousers from Badgley Mischka and the matching cropped blouse for laid-back, relaxed looks.

Welcome a white shirt

Our next staple is something everyone should have in their wardrobe – a white shirt! Such a versatile piece useful for any time of the year. For summer, Laura suggests… “toning your outfits back down with a fresh white shirt. Wear it as a cover up unbuttoned over your favourite summer dress or button it back up and wear with some jeans and sandals for an easy stylish look. A white shirt is such a great styling piece to have in your wardrobe for dressing up or down!”

Try this chiffon shirt from WynneLayers in the breezy white Cloud option. Its unstructured shape and loose fit can be worn elegantly over anything from dresses to tops.

Jump into a jacket

Okay, maybe not literally, but having one to hand to grab on your way out the door is a must. After all, it is a British summer and with that comes rain, sun, wind and more… often all in one day. Our Stylist Laura has you covered here too, with her suggestion of a Ruth Langsford denim jacket, saying “it’s the perfect cover up to see you through those sunny days and slightly chillier evenings.”

There are a few options to pick from in Ruth’s range, including this semi-fitted denim jacket. It comes in a classic Dark Indigo colour, but we’re leaning towards the lighter Mid Wash for the brighter months.

Adding those key accessories

A capsule wardrobe wouldn’t be complete without the perfect accessories. Picture yourself sightseeing in these sporty wedge sandals from Skechers. Whether you’re wearing a top and casual trousers combo or you’re in your favourite maxi dress, they’ll go! Now, add a statement necklace like the Buddy Heart semi-precious stone necklace from Lola Rose.

Looks good right? Especially as Laura’s final tip is to “go bold and add bright pops of colour to your wardrobe. Hot pinks and lime greens are the summer colour must-haves this season.” This Sweet Pink Quartzite option is the one to go for then!

We hope our selection will help you find the capsule wardrobe staples you need for the long-awaited sunny season. Head over to our Summer Fashion Collection to see even more tempting styles.

It’s not long now until the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee bank holiday, which takes place from 2nd to 5th June. There’ll be plenty of celebrations happening over the weekend to acknowledge this historical event and whether you’re watching the spectacles, attending (or hosting!) parties, or making the most of the extra days off relaxing, we’ll ensure you do it all in style.

Our Looks to Celebrate fashion edit is full of vibrant dresses, summery separates plus dazzling accessories worthy of a royal celebration, which is why we’re delving into it for outfit ideas! Take a look, be inspired and get your Jubilee weekend outfits sorted.

Red, white and blue

It might be an obvious one but if you’re wanting to get straight into the spirit of things, then what better way than with the colours of the Union Jack flag?! You could rock all three colours yourself or get playful with friends and family by assigning each person a colour to wear. We’ve got a number of options in our style edit including this pair of wide leg trousers from Denim & Co, which come in Blue or Red.

Featuring a fashionable spot print and cropped length, they’ll work with all kinds of footwear but we’re especially loving them with wedges for a celebratory party feel. Simply add a plain white T-shirt and you’re good to go from street party to Sunday lunch.

Maximum impact

A sleeveless maxi dress is ideal for this time of year and if the weekend proves to be a warm one (here’s hoping!), it’ll help you to stay comfortable in the heat. To match the joyful buzz in the air, how about getting one in a cheery print? This printed maxi dress from Kim & Co is a playful option available in Petite and Regular sizes and comes in your choice of three colourful prints.

If you’re finding yourself outside until late in the evening (those street parties might go on!) or you prefer a more covered look, pop on a lightweight layer like this Kim & Co bolero or Cuddl Duds wrap. For footwear you can go as smart or casual as you like, opting for trainers, sandals or heels.

Cool casual

Of course, you don’t have to make it too dressy! A versatile casual outfit might be just the thing to fit in with all your plans or the perfect go-to for relaxing at home in, cup of tea in hand. We’re loving this new arrival from White Stuff for exactly that: the Selina jumpsuit. Made from a comfortable cotton-mix jersey fabric and boasting a slouchy, relaxed fit, it’s a jumpsuit you’ll be happy to wear all day long (maybe even all weekend long!!).

The sleeveless style of this jumpsuit makes it great for wearing over all kinds of tops. Embrace nautical vibes like here by teaming it with a striped tee or try it with a shirt for a more smart-casual ensemble. The Annie shirt, also from White Stuff, is our top pick right now! Add a pair of white trainers and your outfit is complete.

The crown jewels

Okay, we might not quite have those for you, but you can still accessorise yourself with sensational sparkle that’ll have you feeling like a queen yourself. Turn to tanzanite for majestic pieces that exude opulence, such as this premium platinum ring which boasts a vivid blue AAAA tanzanite gemstone at the centre surrounded by diamonds – mesmerising!

For fans of Diamonique, don’t miss their dedicated Jubilee range, which includes simulated diamond and sterling silver pieces with a commemorative Platinum Jubilee hallmark to mark the occasion. As well as elevating your own outfits, these beautiful designs are also ideal for gifting to loved ones.

That’s all for our Jubilee weekend outfits round-up, but there’s lots more to inspire you in our Looks to Celebrate edit, so go and take a browse! If you’re hosting over the weekend, then check out our Summer Garden Celebration collection too and get your outside space looking party perfect.

Maxi dresses are a summer wardrobe staple, being quick to throw on with a few key accessories and cooling on a warm day. It’s easy to get stuck wearing them with the same pair of flip flops though, or wondering how to dress them up for that special occasion, which is why we’ve put together a go-to guide to help you style your maxi dresses in five different ways.

We’ve used the WynneLayers Patch Pocket Maxi Dress as an example, a versatile design available in Petite or Regular, but you can find plenty more dresses in our collection here.

Go casual with trainers

For a cool, casual look, you can’t go wrong with a maxi dress and a pair of trainers. This is a great outfit for every day, providing comfort underfoot as you go about your regular errands, tackle the school run or commute to work. Even better, it’s an outfit that’s quick to put together, as all you need to do once you’re in your maxi is slip on your favourite trainers as you head out the door – ideal for those busy mornings!

Make it all about summer

There are certain clothes, accessories and beauty products (hello SPF!) that really make it feel like summer, don’t you think? A maxi dress is one of those and it pairs perfectly with anything else summery. We’re talking sandals, sunglasses, shimmering gold eyeshadow, a fabulously big beach hat or that cross-body bag you always take sightseeing. Anything that gets you in a sunny mood.

Take it to new heights

Do heels go with maxi dresses? Of course! It’s a classic combination where nearly any type of heel will do, but we especially adore strappy styles and wedge heels with a summer maxi dress. Wedges are fantastic for giving you height while retaining a slightly more carefree feel and heeled strappy sandals provide elegance when you want something sophisticated (for, say, an evening out al fresco dining!).

Glam it up with jewellery

Want a quick and easy way to smarten up a maxi dress? Turn to jewellery. Gleaming pieces in shining metals always look good in the warmer months and will go with practically anything, but don’t shy away from bright colours as they can work just as well. We love the contrast of this contemporary cream necklace against the black and how the chunky, statement design immediately draws your eye.

Add an edge with a jacket
We might be talking all things summer but let’s face it, there are still going to be times when the sun goes in (especially if you’re in the UK!). But never fear, as maxi dresses look fab with jackets too! Biker and denim jackets are fantastic options that’ll add a stylish edge to your outfit. We’re also big fans of this chic chiffon jacket as a lightweight layer, perfect for providing a little extra coverage without being too warm.

We hope we’ve given you some inspiration on how to style your maxi dresses this summer! Have fun getting playful with different looks. For more outfit ideas and a wide range of beautiful designs, explore our full collection of maxi dresses.

We’ve all become even more aware of the impact waste is having on the planet in recent years, which is why QVC UK is proud to work with brands such as Du Jour that are striving to source recycled fabrications wherever possible in the production of gorgeous fashion.

Much of the clothing in the Du Jour range contains recycled post-consumer polyester, a material that comes from plastic waste such as bottles (which are all too often found in oceans, landfills and the environment around us). This plastic waste is then crushed into fine flakes and spun into polyester fibres that can be woven into fabrics.

One of the most amazing things about this process is it doesn’t mean anything is taken away from the comfort or stylish appearance of clothes, as the fabulous Du Jour collection shows us. Take a look at these beauties, all crafted from 92% recycled post-consumer polyester, and see for yourself!

Floral print midi dress

This stunning midi dress will have you greeting the summer sun with a bright floral display of your own. Decorated with an eye-catching floral print all over and featuring a pretty frilled hemline, it’s a cheerful style we know will bring joy to you and your wardrobe.

Floral print top

Another one covered in fabulous florals is this bold and breezy 3/4 length sleeve top. The popping print provides you with the perfect way to brighten up any look, while the flattering loose-fitting shape will help you stay comfortable even on those warm summer days.

Palazzo trousers

When it comes to comfort, it doesn’t get much more comfortable than a pair of palazzo trousers like these. Their wide-leg design and elasticated waistband allow for plenty of movement so you can go from home, to work, to lunch, feeling and looking good.

Wrap front floral top

Because we don’t think you can have enough florals in your wardrobe, here’s another gorgeous top covered in beautiful blooms. It comes in a chic Black Floral or statement Orange Floral and features a flattering wrap shape that nips in at all the right places. Pair it with jeans for stylish contrast or these matching floral print palazzo trousers for a head-turning look.

Palm print midi dress

Even if you’re not soaking up the sun on holiday (or even if you are!), this fashionable palm print dress will bring the beach vibes straight to you. Team it with flip-flops, sandals or go bare foot on the sand and embrace all things tropical.

To discover more beautiful, thoughtfully made clothes, explore the rest of the Du Jour collection here.

Summer is sailing towards us fast and you know what that means? Sandal season is upon us! Yep, it’s time to free those feet, show off that pedicure and venture out in the hottest summer footwear. We’ll help you stay one step ahead with our wide range of heeled, flat and wedge sandals from some of the biggest shoe brands in the business. Here are some of our favourite styles for every day to get you started.

The Organzana

Featuring soft leather uppers in the style of twisted bows, these slide sandals from Moda in Pelle will add a sweet and stylish touch to any look. Wear them with maxi dresses, cropped jeans and more. We’re loving this hot Pink as a bright option for summer but they come in a variety of other gorgeous colours and a couple of print ones too!

The Havana Rise

If you’re in the mood for easy-to-wear sliders then don’t miss the Havana Rise slider sandals from Radley. They have contoured footbeds that aim to give you all-day support and boast pretty 60s-style floral printed uppers. A fantastic pair to wear around the house, garden and out and about, we’re sure you’ll be slipping into these all summer long.

The Lyss

Available in beautiful neutral shades and dressed up with gold-tone bead detailing, the Lyss sandals from Dune will go with everything while providing a touch of glitz and glam. Thick double straps and buckle fastenings add to their fashionable appearance and when it comes to comfort, the cushioned flatform soles deliver this in abundance. We like the idea of teaming these with palazzo trousers or anything linen.

The Wedge

Daytime footwear doesn’t have to mean ditching a heel, especially when you’ve got these wedge sandals from Ruth Langsford ready to go. Their open toe design is ideal for showing off your pedicure and wide ankle straps ensure your feet not only look good but feel supported too. Pick from a vibrant Orange, shining Silver, crisp White or ever-trendy Leopard print and take your outfits to new heights.

The Orailiya

Another snazzy pair from Moda in Pelle, the Orailiya sandals have your work-to-weekend summer looks in mind. Their sporty style, comfortable wedge soles, padded footbeds and adjustable slingback straps all come together beautifully to make them an ideal pair for wearing here, there and everywhere.

The D’Lux Walker Retro Cosmos

A list of summer sandals wouldn’t be complete with something from iconic footwear brand Skechers and as usual, you can count on them to provide the perfect supportive style. These D’Lux Walker Retro Cosmos sandals will have you set for all your outdoor adventures, with straps that can be adjusted for a more tailored-to-you fit and chunky cushioned footbeds you’ll be happy to walk on all day long.

The Tammy

Heading off on holiday? Whether you’re going near, far or to the bottom of your garden to escape the kids (we won’t tell!), a good pair of vacation sandals are a must. The Tammy footbed sandals from Adesso are exactly that, coming in summer holiday-ready colours including a breezy Blue, brilliant bright White and this sensational Tropical print.

Spring… it’s a glorious time. Nature’s waking up from a long winter slumber and the welcome warmth of sunnier days is approaching. But it can also be a tricky season for dressing, with the weather seeming to change at a moments notice! This is where clever layering comes into play and we’ve got your staple pieces to help make any outfit work this spring.

Play it cool in a denim jacket

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, a good old (or new!) denim jacket is a wardrobe essential and there’s no better time to don yours than in the transitional months. They look effortlessly stylish and go with anything from skirts and blouses to jeans and T-shirts or your favourite dresses, while providing the perfect amount of cover. Coming in all sorts of colours and lengths too, there’s one for everyone.

A couple that are top of our list right now are Nina Leonard’s Stretch Denim Jacket, which comes in a beautiful range of bright colours including this ever-so fresh Ivory, and Ruth Langsford’s Denim Jacket, which comes in your classic denim blue hues. Petites, Dannii Minogue has you covered too with a denim jacket designed specifically for anyone 5′ 3″ and under.

Pack a mac

Any kind of mac or raincoat is going to be your friend this season as those spring showers really can burst out of nowhere! Something lightweight or even packable is especially ideal so you can carry it in a bag or tie it around your waist when there’s gaps in the rain. Spring raincoats often come in gorgeous pops of colours and prints too so it’s a great way to brighten up an outfit.

Have some fun with this packable waterproof coat from Joules, taking your pick from a number of cheerful prints. It can fold into its own bag so you can take it anywhere with you and always have a cover up to hand for those unexpected downpours.

Look to a lightweight cardigan

Lightweight cardigans are also fantastic layering options that go nicely over casual and smart looks. Moving away from the chunky designs of autumn and winter, fine knit cardigans are what you’ll want to turn to for breathable warmth that’ll keep you cosy without overheating.

Isaac Mizrahi Live has a fabulous selection right now, including this smart stripe cardigan. It’s available in your classic Black or Navy but if you’re looking for a fresher feel for spring then the Coral or Cream options are a must. We also adore this 3/4 length sleeve cardigan – the scallop trim details are gorgeous!

Smarten up with a blazer

Heading into the office, out for drinks or to a fabulous spring wedding? Pull on a blazer and you’ll feel and look the business. Blazers work well over anything from camisoles and shirts to dresses and tees, plus are a sure way to smarten up any outfit. Worried about overheating in a blazer? Don’t be! With short styles and lightweight options, there are many that’ll work well on even the warmest days.

Take this WynneLayers Oversized Chiffon Blazer  for example, it’s floaty, lightweight and loose-fitting for an incredibly comfortable feel. We’re big fans of how it’s styled here too, with wide-leg trousers and shining gold accents – so chic!

Spring is a promise of brighter, warmer days and life returning to our gardens in more ways than one. As the flowers start to emerge, we bet you’ll be spending more time outdoors and that includes hosting or attending the occasional garden party too! A celebration outside does call for some outfit planning though, which is why we’re here to help with ideas on what to wear.

Flaunt those florals

It might be an obvious one, but does anything say ‘garden party’ more than a fabulous floral print? You’ll be so in tune with your surroundings the real flowers will be battling you for the spotlight! We have a huge choice right now with many brands bringing out florals for spring, so you’ll have plenty to pick from.

This Dannii Minogue floral dress, available in Petite or Regular, is one of our current favourites. It comes in a gorgeous Teal or sophisticated Black and will go perfectly with pink shoes to match the flower pattern. Another fantastic choice is the Edith dress from Finery in either the Red Floral or Multi Floral print. It’ll go great with boots and a biker jacket if it’s a slightly breezier day.

Grab a smart jacket

Want to know the secret of transforming any outfit? A tailored jacket! It’s a smart staple suitable for more than just work and provides an effortless way to wear an extra layer in a setting like a garden party. Something like this chic Ruth Langsford blazer will instantly dress up a jeans and T-shirt combo for a fantastic smart-casual ensemble.

Play around with prints

Along with florals there’s a world of print out there to have fun with and whether you go top-to-toe or add a hint here and there, rocking up in stylish print will work every time. How about going all-out bold with the standout Gelato Stripe Dress from Monsoon? Fresh and fun, it’ll make you get first dibs on any ice cream served at the party surely!

Prefer only a touch of print? Pop on a printed scarf such as this one from JM Fashion by Julien Macdonald. The geo multi-coloured print is perfect for brightening up casual and smart outfits alike, plus it may be that extra bit of warmth (or shade!) you need when you’re spending time outside.

Keep it relaxed

Depending on how formal you want to go (or if there’s a dress code), you might want to keep things casual and relaxed. If that sounds more you then try pairing these geometric print trousers, either in Petite or Regular, with a plain top and flats – they’re a fab alternative to a dress and look no less stylish. Remember that scarf? They’ll go great with it too! All from JM Fashion by Julien Macdonald.

That’s a wrap

Lastly, you can never go wrong with a wrap dress for a party. They’re elegant, comfortable and flattering on all body shapes, nipping in at the waist for a beautiful silhouette while still allowing plenty of movement. You can count on Ruth Langsford (of course!) to deliver on this too.

Coming in Petite, Tall and Regular sizes, this midi wrap front dress pulls out all the stops. Stylish print? Check. Flattering shape? Check. Comfortable fabric? Check. Wear it with heeled or flat sandals for a glamorous garden party outfit… but watch out for any sinking-in-the-grass situations if you opt for stilettos!

You can find more style inspiration across our fashion, shoes and accessories departments, and if it’s party outfits you’re after then don’t miss our dedicated Occasionwear Collection.
