How does the Dyson Airwrap work?
Like all of Dyson’s innovations, this do-it-all device is the height of haircare gadgetry. The Airwrap utilises the Coanda effect, an aerodynamic phenomenon that creates a gentle spinning vortex of air. But what does this mean in terms of styling? In layman’s terms, the Airwrap uses air to pull your hair gently around the device like magic, so there’s no turning, twisting, over-heating or getting caught up in wires. It’s a quick way to achieve your favourite look too, as it combines drying your hair with styling, and with its cold setting, it’s easy to set your locks into place when you’re done.
What can you do with the Dyson Airwrap?
It’s more a case of what can’t you do. In your kit, you’ll find the pre-styling dryer to give your wet hair a quick blast, clockwise and anti-clockwise barrels in 30mm and 40mm diameters for curls and loose waves, a firm smoothing brush to recreate straightened locks, a soft smoothing brush for that blow-dried finish and a round volumising brush to give you all of the va-va-voom.
