The presenters treat themselves!

Now your Christmas gift list has been ticked off and you’ve sorted all the presents for your nearest and dearest, it’s time to think about how to treat the most special person – you! We spoke to the presenters about which wellbeing gift they’d like to find under their own Christmas tree this year.

Jackie Kabler

I’d be very happy to receive the Smug Active Pilates set, which includes a skipping rope and a resistance band. I’m a very keen runner but I can’t run every day, so skipping is a really fun alternative way of getting a bit of aerobic exercise in the comfort of your own living room. I used to love skipping as a child and I definitely haven’t done enough of it as an adult! The resistance band is so useful too – I’d use that to help me with my stretching as well as for a quick resistance workout. There are lots of free workout videos online featuring resistance bands too – who needs a gym, eh?

Ophelia Dennis:

A wellbeing gift I’d like to receive is the Northern Nights PUR Feather Extra Deep Feather Bed, as a good and comfortable night’s sleep is so important. A great way to do that is by creating a relaxing sanctuary in the bedroom, starting with what I actually sleep on. It was super comfy to just sit on while presenting, so actually sleeping on it must be a dream. Good support while sleeping and being able to fully relax in a bed that supports and cushions any position would really help for a good deep sleep.

To create the ultimate atmosphere, I’d also like the Made by Zen Glo Aroma Diffuser with essential oils. I’d fill it with lavender oil to complement the Himalayan salts (which I love) that are already inside, so it can fill the room with fragrance. It would certainly help me to unwind before going to sleep, and letting me wake up rested and ready for the day ahead.

Annaliese Dayes:

A wellbeing gift that I would like to receive has got to be the Hayo’u Precision Jade Eye Massage Tool.

This is because I feel like taking time on your skincare routine is also taking time for yourself. And who doesn’t love a cheeky massage? Those few moments of gently rolling the jade around your eyes is totally a moment of relaxation, to close your eyes and be in the now. Combined with the Hayo’u Beauty Restorer & Beauty Oil duo I could really see myself melting into the moment, fully relaxing, focusing on being calm and of course, enjoying the results of a revitalised complexion.

Simon Biagi:

I am a firm believer in supplements and I honestly believe that to feel well, you need to look after your health from the inside first. So, although it may seem a little boring, I would like to receive some supplements! As I’m such an advocate for them, I’ve already tried most of what QVC have and I can certainly recommend a few. I recently talked to Greg Whyte, who is an ex-modern pentathlete and has developed the U Perform range of fabulous supplements and I’m currently taking his collagen one and can really feel the difference. The Complete Me from registered nutritional therapist Natalie Le Bouedec is great. She has done all the hard work for you, so choosing what you need is simple. She has a great selection, so check out the website to see which fits your needs best. One thing I’m never without in the winter months are the 8 Greens Effervescent Drink Tablets from Dawn Russell’s 8 Greens range. They’re a proper pick me up when the days are short and the early mornings take their toll. A feeling of wellness comes from within, so look after what’s inside!

Debbie Flint:

Neom is my key discovery and top tip for wellbeing this winter from QVC. Great Day is the most heavenly uplifting fragrance, and when I smell it, or the Perfect Sleep Bath Foam, it makes my shoulders go down and my body relax. The candles add to the uplifting effect on my mood and on my home, especially the De-stress options. We have some great Neom deals this Christmas. Buy one as a gift in the lovely boxes just to experience the aroma, but you’ll probably want to keep it! I’ve definitely got them on Santa’s Christmas list!

Katy Pullinger:

My ultimate wellbeing gift would be the Theragun Mini Massager. I’ve had the chance to use both the larger version and the mini, and I think the mini would suit me best so I can take it on the go and use it after my long car journeys. I get tight shoulders and back and knots in my forearms, and this has been amazing to alleviate that soreness. The Desert Rose colour option is my favourite!
