Vegan is one of the big buzzwords in beauty right now. Hot on the heels of K-beauty and clean beauty, taking your beauty routine vegan is the aim of many animal-loving (and beauty-loving) guys and girls everywhere.
Vegan beauty means no animal-derived ingredients whatsoever, so it can be tricky to navigate. While some brands are completely vegan, other companies may have only specific vegan products, so you need to do your research. However there are more and more brands committing to going vegan, and you certainly don’t need to compromise on quality.
We asked make-up artist Lucy to put together a full face using purely vegan products, testing out formulas and pigments, to show that vegan make-up is just as good as its non-vegan competitors.
