The first look is inspired by the Pantone colour of the year ‘Very Peri’ which is a chic take on pastels and is easily achievable with the ‘Mauve’ option of the Kim & Co stretch suede peplum jacket. Using this piece as the hero item, I’ve styled it with a good-quality simple black top by WynneLayers. and this fun snake print A-line skirt by Dannii Minogue. To finish, I wanted to add a touch of Jackie with these fresh white Moda in Pelle trainers, tying the whole look together perfectly.

The second look is cool, classic and contemporary all at the same time, featuring some key styles that belong in any capsule wardrobe: a nice denim jacket by Denim & Co., a good-quality white vest top by WynneLayers and of course, your favourite jeans cut by Ruth Langsford. For Jackie, that’s her signature slim leg. Styled with all tan accessories by Moda in Pelle and Lulu Guinness, this look oozes timeless elegance.

Now, I alluded to something in the title of this blog and it’s true… the time has come for me to hang up my shoes as the in-house talent stylist and as such, this will be my last blog post. After almost two years and countless hours spent with our lovely presenters, some lucky new person will be taking over soon. So watch this space… it’s been an absolute pleasure. Now, the show must go on!

Happy 2022, folks! New year, new blog post. I thought we could all do with a fresh new perspective as well as something to look forward to, so I’m bringing you an exclusive sneak peek with some behind-the-scenes snippets from an upcoming campaign we’ve been shooting at the Q.

Spring is just around the corner and I for one am already embracing the lighter days ahead. So I wanted this sentiment to come across in the outfits seen here styled on Catherine Huntley (@catherinehuntleytv) and Annaliese Dayes (@annaliesedayes).

Catherine and I work very closely on her on-air wardrobe and I wanted to make sure her overall style vibe was reflected in this look as well. Always inspired by the classic 50s – 70s vintage woman, I also wanted to incorporate a contemporary element to the outfit making it timeless and letting the essence of Catherine shine through. The tailored Helene Berman blazer ties the whole look together, lush!

Having already done a few shoots with Annaliese, I know we can always take her look to the next level. Being a bit of a fashion chameleon, she’s always up for trying something new and in this instance the main objective was pairing the outfit back – if you’re familiar with this lady, you’ll know she’s all about her bright colours and bold styles! Instead, we went for an impactful silhouette and texture with this Frank Usher faux leather shacket, Finery cropped denim trousers and chunky Dune boots. Something different, something fresh.

It’s December, folks. That last month of the year where the days are at their shortest, the lights at night burn brightest and the weather turns wintery (and particularly cold this time around, may I add!). All of which has gotten me in the mood for some seriously cosy casual wear – without compromising on the cool factor, of course.

I’m thinking candlelight (or an open fireplace, if you’re lucky enough to be near one), National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on the telly and leftover Christmas food in my belly… those days where you just want to throw on something comfy but still look and feel fabulous.

Whether you’re keeping it casual with the co-ord jogger set from Finery or turning up that festive feeling in the jewelled crystal button cardi from Frank Usher (I’d wear this with a red lip and nothing else), I can almost guarantee you’ll want to live in these pieces I’ve hand-picked for my QVC Christmas edit – perfect for a classic case of crimbo limbo. It’s that time of year again… winter is steadily approaching, and we’ve got your winter walks, festive feasts and lazy lie ins covered. We kicked things off with a very special event over the weekend – did you catch any of the QVC Unwrapped action on Saturday? This was an exclusive insight to what goes on behind-the-scenes which we know you love! Lots more of that to look forward to in the new year so keep watching. The fabulous Annaliese Dayes (@annaliesedayes) and myself also looked ahead at some amazing fashion offers, you can watch back the video here.

As an extra treat, I thought I’d give you a preview of this Saturday’s Today’s Special Value – it’s this Faux Fur Down Coat with Inner Lining and Fully Detachable Hood by Centigrade. I really wanted to showcase how very versatile this style of coat is by getting six of our fabulous presenters to wear their favourite colour their own way.

Hey there, hope you’re all keeping well. It’s been a wee while since I’ve posted anything on here, so I thought it was about time I did! And what better time of year to talk festive wear, which is what I’ve been working on in the background as well as keeping busy with the fashion side of things for our fabulous presenter team.

Some of you may already follow me on Instagram and might have noticed I’ve started a new IGTV series called ‘Stine’s Style Selection’. I’ll be doing these videos on a regular basis to keep you all up to date with my top picks and the best of what QVC UK currently has to offer in fashion, shoes and accessories.

Due to popular demand, I’m already five episodes in and always planning the next one – I’ve been overwhelmed by all the lovely comments and feedback I’ve received so far so thank you all very much! I always appreciate you taking the time to watch and knowing what resonates with you so I can keep the content coming.

Happy September out there! In celebration of this month’s birthstone sapphire, I teamed up with QVC’s very own Jewellery Insider a.k.a. Presenter Kathryn Goldsmith along with our fantastic jewellery buying team to create some beautiful imagery featuring some truly stunning pieces from our Diamonique range.

Some of you may have already been following Kathryn’s jewellery posts over the past few months but in case you haven’t, she’s been made the new official jewellery expert among the presenters. With a background in and passion for gemstones, she knows a thing or two about bling!

Each month Kathryn will do a series of posts, IGTVs and Facebook Lives sharing a wealth of jewellery knowledge as well as showing you her favourite new pieces coming to QVC. On the fourth Friday each month, we team up with our InsiderStyle post on Instagram which emphasises more on fashion and how jewellery instantly adds personality to an outfit as well as bringing it life.

This month was extra special as we got to do a proper photo shoot – we usually run around the QVC studios trying to find a free set, so this was a real treat! I of course jumped at the opportunity and started working on a mood board to come up with a concept and plan out a colour scheme that would work with the sapphire theme. This process gets me in a creative flow and helps me envision the final outcome of the imagery as well as give direction to our lovely photographer Laura who also pitched in with her ideas and how we could bring it all to life using the props and sets available to us.

We of course needed an outfit for Kathryn to go with the fabulous blue and pink tones of the jewellery pieces so I scanned the QVC website and found the perfect pale blue Finery dress and royal blue Helene Berman coat. Luckily Kathryn loved the whole look and concept!

We’re thrilled to bits with how the images came out and hope this edit leaves you feeling inspired to wear some of the fabulous jewellery pieces QVC has to offer.

A couple of weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of spending a whole afternoon with our two new lovely presenters, Ophelia Dennis and Annaliese Dayes, all in the name of fashion.

But before we were able to kick off this behind-the-scenes fashion show, I had to get myself ready. A lot of prep work goes into planning the wardrobe sessions I do with our presenters. Firstly, I need to make sure I do my research so I have a clear understanding of what ‘my client’ is after and to get an idea of their overall style vibe.

My work as Talent Stylist here at QVC is very much a presenter/stylist partnership – did you know the presenters used to dress themselves? I came on the scene last year just as the pandemic hit so started out by doing video calls with each presenter to get to know their fashion likes/dislikes, favourite QVC brands and all that jazz.

Luckily, restrictions have since been lifted so it felt like a real luxury being able to do my initial wardrobe sessions with our two new leading ladies in person! Ophelia told me her style muse is Beyoncé, whereas Annaliese is mainly inspired by street style. So I tried to apply this knowledge when working on their looks. I’m a very visual person and like to convey my ideas with moodboards, which I put together based on my research and the catch-ups we will have had beforehand.

When working on Ophelia’s looks, I focused on colour, print and texture as these were all areas she was keen to explore. Black being her go-to colour for outfits off-telly, she wanted to try something new and different. As a stylist, this is always a dream to hear as I know nothing better than going on a journey of self-discovery with my clients. Keeping an open mind is key when delving into unfamiliar territory – that’s where I come in to offer support and guidance. As you’ll see from the images below, we had a lot of fun trying on the different outfits combinations!

We immediately hit it off and found our groove – I know Annaliese lives for her fashion and I love how confident she is when working a look! The sky is the limit when it comes to colour combinations and trying new trends keeps inspiring me to go bolder and brighter with her outfits. This is such a fun fashion challenge… watch this space!

How are we all doing? Whatever you’re up to this month, I sure hope you’ve weather proofed your wardrobe. August has been wet, wet, wet! Looks like sunshine is on the horizon though, a very welcome surprise, n’est-ce pas?

Now that I’ve gotten the current weather/state-of-mind status out of the way, it’s time to talk fashion… you guessed it! We have a two-day fashion event coming up this Friday 20^th and Saturday 21^st August, so I thought I’d tease some of the key lines featured.

I was joined by QVC Presenters (and dressing roomies, would you believe!) Chloe Everton (@chloeeverton1) and Debbie Flint (@debbieflinttv) for this edit. Chloe will tell you she hates having her picture taken, though I think she smashed it! Debbie is just a natural and rocked her looks too.

We all had a blast taking pictures around the QVC studios as well as in the newly re-vamped guest quarters (you may have spotted the lovely living wall backdrop on the occasional social media post these past couple of weeks).

Wow, I can’t quite believe summer has passed its half-way mark! As such, this is an exciting opportunity to look at the season ahead: it’s time to invite a bit of autumn fashion into your wardrobe. With society officially opening again, for this season’s autumn campaign we wanted to bring you some outfit inspiration for your days back at the office as well as for those after-work drinks and time spent out and about we’ve all been missing. So much catching up to do, am I right?!

To make the transition from lounge to leisure easy as pie, comfort was at the forefront of my mind when styling these looks, focusing on colour pops, fun prints and faux leather to liven up your stylish come-back to the streets. For this shoot, we were lucky enough to have two very special people join our team of fabulous leading ladies for a week full of socially distanced fun on set.

You may recognise Annaliese Dayes (@annaliesedayes) as one of our Fashion Experts here at QVC as well as from her modelling days on America’s Next Top Model and Charlotte Avery (@charlotte.presents) who frequently visits the QVC studios as one of our Health and Personal Care Experts, both as some of our regular Guest Presenters.

For Charlotte’s look, it was all about her love of vintage-inspired garments and theatrical drama. She told me she loves a scarf and the colour orange so I thought this Ruth Langsford style worked perfectly with the neutral tones of the overall outfit. In Charlotte’s own words, she describes her as style as ‘relaxed elegance, with a hint of vintage and a pop of colour’. We both agree this outfit ticks all those boxes!
