Affinity Gems

A signature QVC collection, Affinity Gems brings us a gorgeous range of precious, semi-precious, opaque and exotic gemstones. You can create a variety of looks to light up your ensembles, all for a great price.

Take, for example, this cocktail ring. Crafted from sterling silver with your choice of step-cut gemstone, this piece offers an exciting way to show off your style. The five-carat stone is the focus, and this one-stone design makes it ideal for wearing with multiple outfits. Finish your looks perfectly by choosing a nail polish colour that complements the gemstone.

We also love this dreamy drop necklace, featuring an array of delicate gemstones including blue topaz, citrine and amethyst.

Offering a wealth of colour, shine and different shapes, this piece makes an irresistible addition to the jewellery box. It would make a memorable gift, too.

Simplicity by Diamonique

Marrying sleek style and contemporary elegance, Simplicity by Diamonique is a range that’s sure to prove a hit. Each design is crafted from recycled silver, so you can express your style while knowing that you’re wearing something eco-friendly that’s been given a second life.

We love the modern look of this curved wide band ring. It draws the eye instantly with its bold chunky look, while the gold-plated or rhodium-plated sterling silver provides a classic feel, all set with dozens of round, brilliant-cut white simulated diamonds.

Another prize design for your repertoire, these lustrous link drop earrings will bring glitz and glamour to your ears every time, effortlessly. Accented by round, brilliant-cut white simulated diamonds, they’ll catch the light deftly for an elegant finish.

Wear these alongside your other glistening jewellery for showstopping evening looks that will turn heads.

Who’s ready to welcome spring? Whether we’re brightening up our homes or injecting new life into our wardrobes, everything about the season spells fresh energy and optimism. As we cast our eyes towards the warmer months, it’s time to open ourselves up to the blooms of possibility.

Why not indulge in captivating florals and pretty pastels? You might want to discover new ways to transform your home, or boost your beauty bag with fresh skincare. Whatever you’re looking for, there’s so much blossoming at QVC. Here are 10 great ways to live like it’s spring.

1. A spring clean

Of course, it all starts with a good old-fashioned spring clean. Aside from the satisfaction we feel when we start to de-clutter, getting the home spick, span and spring-ready will ensure your living space is sparkling for the Easter celebrations ahead. Want to clean the house without single-use plastic? Enter this Bathroom Necessities Sustainable Cleaning Bundle from Homethings.

The collection includes sustainable cleaning essentials that you can refill and re-use time and again. It’ll change up the way you do your household cleaning.

2. Get organised with storage

The secret to home happiness isn’t just getting it spotless, but keeping it neat, tidy and crisp. Storage plays a key part and this set of three velvet-touch trunks from BundleBerry by Amanda Holden can help you keep items dust-free and tidied away post-winter.

As well as freeing up space, these versatile trunks add a stylish touch to your home. You can even use them as side tables stacked on top of each other, or as an ottoman at the foot of your bed.

3. Dress up your living space

We can also lean into the season of renewal by refreshing our homes with bold hues and contemporary furniture. Take, for example, this faux marbletop bar stand from BundleBerry by Amanda Holden.

Perfect for soirees and home gatherings, this modern table is also an ideal surface on which to display other vibrant decor pieces, whether it’s a ginkgo lamp with a velvet shade from Alison Cork, mercury glass candle holders or a faux flower bouquet.

4. Grow as a cook

It must be something about sunshine streaming into the kitchen that suddenly makes you think, hmm… food! Well, this large ceramic casserole dish from Bundleberry by Amanda Holden is a great prompt in itself to try new recipes and bake a little springtime goodness.

With its ‘Hot Pot’ mosaic, this dish is perfect for serving up your Easter feasts, with seasonal ingredients and fresh produce, as the first veggies peek up from the garden. Discover plenty more tools and essentials to broaden your culinary horizons here, too.

5. Awaken your senses

We can officially say “spring is in the air” when the beautiful smells that come with the change of season begin to flood our senses. But what does spring smell like at home? We reckon this True Love candle from Homeworx by Harry Slatkin & Co. nails it.

If winter’s woody, spring is floral and romantic. This four-wick candle, encased in a glass vessel, boasts an invigorating blend of rose, peony, apple, melon, geranium and peach notes. Fill your haven with scent or gift this candle to someone special.

6. Brighten up your outdoors

It may be on the chilly side, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take a step or two outdoors, if a little tentatively, and spend more time in the garden. Sprucing up your patio or back yard doesn’t have to be hard work, either.

For bohemian flair (and zero maintenance), check out this three-piece faux plant set from My Home Stories, featuring two faux succulents and a faux aloe vera housed in mosaic planters, or this stylish faux tropical foliage hanging basket from BundleBerry by Amanda Holden.

7. Let your outfits bloom

Turning our attention to our wardrobes, spring is when we awaken our style, weaving in new colour palettes that uplift and inspire joy. We’ve fallen for this midi skirt from Helene Berman. Light, floaty, tiered and printed, this ebullient piece looks great teamed with a plain top to really let your skirt take centre stage.

On evergreen styling, every spring (and summer) repertoire needs lighter outerwear, like this denim-style jacket in cotton from Denim & Co. Whether you’re transforming a maxi dress or layering it over a go-to T-shirt, it’s a style building block you can rely on.

Looking for more spring-ready fashion? Browse our seasonal range.

8. Step up your footwear

Out with the snow boots and in with the spring shoes! Warmer weather means ditching your heavier footwear for lighter, (dare we sat it?) ankle-baring styles.

From trainers and slip-ons to sliders and ankle boots, our accessories edit has everything you need to re-jig your collection and complete your outfits.

9. Bag some arm candy

Speaking of adding finishing touches, next-season’s handbags are here and we’re loving this leather cross-body from Ashwood. Zipped compartments, pockets, an adjustable strap – it has everything you need to keep your essentials close for your next picnic.

10. Hit reset on beauty

After a long winter, it’s only right we pamper ourselves out of the cold with a bounty of beauty. Try Daywear Sheer Tint Moisturiser SPF 15 from Estee Lauder for your daily hydration (and sun protection), and refresh your wellbeing routine with sensational supplements from Zooki. Whether you’re giving yourself some love with self-care saviours or building a new skincare routine, our beauty destination has the answers.

We hope you have the loveliest of seasons, and be sure to check our website regularly for updates. As the poet Algernon Charles Swinburne put it, “Blossom by blossom, the spring begins.”

It’s finally here: Brenda Edwards‘ brand new fashion collection, BeU, has arrived! Chock full of iconic, bold pieces, including gorgeous jumpsuits and standout separates, this stylish collection has been designed with inclusivity in mind so you can look and feel amazing every day.

We recently caught up with Brenda to find out more about the fabulous collection and the inspirational woman herself.

Hi Brenda, we’re so excited about the launch of BeU! What can we expect from the collection?

‘You can expect lots of bold, beautiful prints and bright, vibrant colours. Every piece in this collection was designed to make you feel as good in yourself as you will look wearing them.’

What has surprised you about the process of creating your own fashion range?

‘I’ve learnt a lot about how much work goes into the material and colour choices, and even the process of making my own prints! I was surprised to learn that different types of materials are better suited to different types of clothing and that certain materials can make two designs look totally different. This collection has been two years in the making so the lead in time was also a huge surprise.’

BeU by Brenda Edwards

What are some of the core messages you have tried to communicate with your range?

‘I want women to feel that they can be adventurous with their clothing and never restrict themselves. Everyone should feel confident in their bodies and know that they look good while also feeling comfortable in what they’re wearing. The pieces in my collection aren’t restrictive and look great no matter your shape or size. I put a lot of myself into each piece, so when you wear them I want you to feel that you can truly Be U!’

What excites you about spring fashion?

‘I love spring fashion because you can really experiment with colour and vibrant prints. We have used a range of lightweight materials in this collection that will blow and flutter in the spring air and truly put a spring in your step!’

BeU by Brenda Edwards

What are you looking forward to in 2023?

‘I can’t wait to see women walking down the street wearing clothes from my collection, seeing that they look amazing and knowing that they feel it too. I’m also looking forward to continuing to work on the range while getting feedback from customers – with them at the heart of the collection it can keep growing and evolving.’

Thanks so much Brenda! We can’t wait to see more fabulous styles from you in the future.

Looking for jewellery that shines with personality, fun and colour? Then look no further than the latest jewellery brand to hit our shelves, Nikki and Me.

Created by jewellery designer Nikki Gewirtz MBE, Nikki & Me creates stunning pieces using a vast collection of semi-precious gemstones, inspired by Nikki’s passion and expertise of 22 years in the world of jewellery. Beautifully designed and easy to love, these pieces bring vibrant style to your everyday that won’t go unnoticed.

To celebrate the brand’s launch here at QVC, we’ve hand-picked five designs we think you’ll love.

1. The Mindy bracelet

If you’re looking to infuse some boho chic into your looks, you’ve come to the right place. The Mindy bracelet, strung with semi-precious gemstones, instantly enhances a  blouse or shirt. Plus, it’s finished with a Chinese knot fastening too for that just-right fit.

It’s a design that would work beautifully from the beach all the way to dinner, and back to breakfast again. We love the enamel wording motif for that sweet, affirmative touch, too. Choose your favourite of the four words; ‘LOVED’, ‘CUTE’, ‘MAMA’ or ‘GODDESS’.

2. The Skylar bracelet

What better way to elevate your outfits than with a fashionable nod to the stars? That’s exactly what the Skylar bracelet does, boasting a beautifully carved semi-precious stone star that takes centre stage on your wrist; a perfect symbol for good luck. You’ll get that ‘wish upon a star’ feeling!

Whether you add this to your arm candy stash or gift it to the star person in your life, this dreamy piece is sure to uplift and become a most-loved accessory. One thing to bear in mind, if you do decide to keep it for yourself: don’t be surprised to find people gazing at your wrist!

3. The Elizabeth necklace

Exuberant accessories have a way of brightening up our day, and you can certainly rely on the Elizabeth necklace to radiate joy, brightness and joie de vivre. From the complementing hues to the alluring, bow-shaped semi-precious gemstones strung throughout, Elizabeth is a neckline winner!

4. The Dolly necklace

Your next crush, and another fabulous addition to the Nikki and Me range, we couldn’t resist showing you the Dolly necklace. Bespangled with heart-shaped and smooth semi-precious gemstones, this piece is as delicate and understated as it is strikingly romantic.

Pair it with casual, everyday outfits like jeans and a T-shirt, or showier pieces like a dress or a jumpsuit, to enliven your outfit and add that eye-catching finishing touch. However you layer, stack or style it, it’s a great way to express yourself and make every look your own.

5. The Stephanie Bracelet (set of two)

What’s better than one bracelet? Two, of course! More is more for us jewellery magpies, and the attractive Stephanie bracelet set, crafted with stretch for comfort, works wonderfully stacked together for a statement look, or worn separately for something more delicate on the wrist.

We couldn’t be happier to welcome Nikki and Me into the QVC family. Be sure to check out the rest of the range, and don’t forget to visit our jewellery destination for more dazzling designs from a host of top brands.

Come spring, summer, autumn, or winter, a stylish and weather-appropriate jacket is an essential in your wardrobe. Whether you throw one on for warmth or to tie your look together, the importance of this staple layer can’t be ignored.

With help from QVC stylist Laura Johnson, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite jackets for the season, alongside our tips on how to best style them. From denim to bold colours, casual to smart, read on for our essential style guide for this season’s must-have jackets.

A splash of pink

Spring and summer styling is all about bold, bright hues that make you feel good. Whether you prefer to go all out with colour coordination or keep to one staple pop of colour, a bright jacket is the perfect place to start. We’re currently loving Ruth Langsford’s Twill Denim Style Jacket in bold, berry pink. Stylish and vibrant, it’s the perfect way to give your look a focal point and show everyone that you’re rocking spring shades.

A bright, berry pink denim jacket from Ruth Langsford

Laura suggests… ‘picking one colour- in this case berry pink, and staying tonal with the rest of your look is simple yet effective. Don’t be afraid to play with colour and go overboard!‘  Layered over this Hot Pink Cable Knit Vest from Crystal Kobe and the Burgundy Luxe Crepe Hollywood Trousers from WynneLayers, your pink-toned look is almost complete.

Staying with the playful tonal theme, anything other than these Fuchsia Moda In Pelle Chrissi Slingback Sandals feels wrong. Metallic and fun, what could go better with this spring-ready outfit? The classic Hero Croc Leather Tote Bag from Ruth Langsford is a gorgeous way to add some colourful contrast (we’ve chosen the Burgundy one, of course), and to finish the look with some sparkle, the Kiss Milgrain Sterling Silver Hoop Earrings from Diamonique certainly fit the bill.

The staple denim jacket

Every wardrobe needs a classic denim jacket – they’re a must-have transitional piece for your arsenal and truly go with everything. Laura says… ‘denim jackets are super casual yet stylish, and you can really experiment with what you wear them with. Paired with bold colour underneath or something muted, a simple and casual yet effortlessly chic look is guaranteed.’

The classic blue denim jacket from Ruth Langsford

We’ve teamed this gorgeous Ruth Langsford Denim Jacket in Dark Indigo with a bright Nina Leonard Moss knit two-piece. Bright colour comes into play again here, as the eye-catching mustard yellow pairs with the deep blue of denim to create a gorgeous spring colour palette.

We’ve put it all together with the super-casual and fun Dune Energised Lightening Bolt Trainers in Dalmation, but you could easily dress it up with some neutral boots. We’ve also gone tonal with the Dusty Blue Huntington Leather Hobo Bag from Ben de Lisi, boasting a denim blue hue which ties the look together beautifully, as well as a fun gold-toned Sentiment Multi Heart Charm Necklace from Bibi Bijoux to add some bling.

A comfy, casual look

For spring, we’re all about soft and relaxed looks that not only feel great on but have an effortlessly stylish finish too. This Khaki Bomber Jacket from Ruth Langsford is the perfect example of a relaxed, neutral look, boasting faux suede and faux leather accents in an earthy hue that work to elevate your outfit while keeping it super wearable. We’ve paired it with a range of neutrally toned pieces, like these super wearable Deep Turn Up Cuff Trousers in Stone and a Comfort Hoodie in Grey, both from Ben De Lisi, which help to give it a sporty, casual finish. Laura says… ‘going neutral with your look helps to give a really relaxed feel, and this khaki jacket is the perfect way to tie it all together. Pairing it with a hoodie and trainers also ties in with the current sport-luxe trend which is effortless yet super stylish.

A soft, comfy, and casual jacket from Ruth Langsford

Accessorise with an effortlessly glam 9 carat gold Diamond and Emerald Panther Ring to match the earthy tones within the pieces, and the super comfortable Skechers Uno Metallic Trimmed Trainers to further the ‘just left the gym’ look, we can’t think of a better fit for spending those casual days when you want to look as good as you feel.

The bold, edgy jacket

Ready to paint the town red? Nothing says edgy-chic better than a biker jacket, and this gorgeous Burgundy Suedette one from Ruth Langsford is the perfect example. We love the exaggerated lapels and zip details, and there’s no ignoring the stunning red hue it boasts. We’ve paired this gorgeous jacket with the equally vivid and equally fabulous Mya Jersey Midi Dress in Pink Animal from Finery, which features a bold all-over print in a striking pink shade.

The biker-chic, bright and edgy jacket from Ruth Langsford

Laura says…‘this look is all about standing out and having fun! Colour clashing with shades in the same colour family is a great way to bring some fun and intrigue to your look, especially when your styles clash too. Instead of finishing this dress off with a cardigan, throwing on the biker jacket will add some edge, which can be further amplified with your accessories.’

To keep up with the bold colour theme, we’ve added the JM by Julien Macdonald Mini Icon Leather Tote Bag in a bright and eye-catching Red and kept it tonal with a pair of Burgundy Leather Platform Ankle Boots from Ruth Langford – we love the leather finishes from these accessories.

Tonal elegance

Playing into the neutral tones trend is this gorgeous Sand Denim Jacket from Denim & Co, which perfectly encapsulates spring and summer transitional styling with its soft hues and wearable design. Worn with the Short Sleeve Jumpsuit in Camel from Crystal Kobe, it’s in keeping with the neutrality of the jacket. And why not match your accessories, too? We’ve added these ultra-trendy retro-style Fitover Juliette Sunglasses in Mocha from JPE, as well as gold-toned jewellery which carries on the earthy tones of the look.

Tonal elegance in a jacket from Denim & Co.

To finish the look, we’ve opted for a pair of Light Grey Snake Print Clogs from BOnova for a touch of something different.  Laura says… ‘adding the pop of snake print shows how one bit of print in an otherwise tonal look can really elevate it. Playing with prints and plain fabrics is a fabulous way to bring intrigue and fun to your spring looks, and this neutral denim jacket facilitates this excellently.’

Classic double denim

Nothing’s quite as playful and fun as double denim, so how could we not include this gorgeous Mid-Wash Button Front Denim Jacket from Ben De Lisi? This fabulous piece boasts a chic swing shape and offers a completely different way to style your jacket. Laura says… ‘don’t always feel like you have to wear your jacket as a final layer, instead why not try doing your jacket up and wearing it as a top? Displaying interesting buttons and stylish necklines are just some of the pros, but, especially with this swing jacket, it’s a great way to introduce different shapes to your look!’

The double denim swing jacket Ben de Lisi

We’ve paired this jacket with some Indigo Straight-Leg Jeans from Ruth Langsford. Trying double denim is all about experimenting with different shades and seeing what suits you, so have fun mixing and matching and adding depth and definition to the look.

The adorable London Magic Is Everywhere Multiway Bag from Radley also ties it together gorgeously, and what better way to finish a casual look than with a versatile pair of trainers? We chose a Light Grey pair of Essence Winny Lace-Ups from Vionic.

Prefer to keep your style modest? Well, prepare to be spoilt for choice! No matter what you choose to wear, we want fashion to be accessible to everyone, and that includes you! Our modest fashion edit is made with pieces for any occasion, giving you the confidence to show off your style game in a way that keeps you covered and stays true to you. Browse some of our favourite items from the edit and discover what modest fashion is all about!

What is modest fashion?

If the term “modest fashion” is unfamiliar to you, it often refers to dressing in a less revealing manner for pious, cultural, or personal reasons. It may also feature styling elements that include layering, loose silhouettes, high necklines, long sleeves, and clothing that covers most of your skin. A common misconception is that you need to dress plainly to be modest, but it’s not like that at all – you can still choose to dress modestly and be on-trend too!

Keep reading and we’ll show you what we mean…

Our modest fashion must-haves

Dresses

One of the most well-liked styles of modest clothing is the dress. Most modestly dressed women have too many dresses in their closets, so why not invest in ones that you can use to their fullest potential? There are plenty out there with interesting styles to amp up your look, and this hanky hemline dress by Julien MacDonald is one of them. Perfect for special events, it’s a mix between traditional style and a contemporary twist. With its long sleeves and flowing design, this dress exudes a feminine vibe we know you’ll love! Team it with some tall boots and a high-neck bodysuit to keep it modest.

Tops

Any outfit can be made great with the right top and, let’s face it, you can never have too many in your wardrobe. Every woman on-the-go could wear modest tops as their default choice, because there are so many that follow the season’s trends and a huge range of colours, patterns and styles to choose from. This tunic from Du Jour is perfect for layering and giving any look depth, plus it ticks all the boxes for modest dressers that love to keep on-trend thanks to its fabulous all-over print. It gives you the option to tuck it in some trousers or you can let it flow freely, so you can wear it with your favourite high-waisted trousers or a skirt to complete a fabulous “vay-cay” outfit!

Jackets

Jackets are no longer only worn in professional or business settings. You can now wear one out on a date, shopping with your besties and much more, easily making your modest attire stand out. Our style senses tell us that this jacket from Ruth Langsford is adaptable and ideal for layering, plus it perfectly captures this season’s on-trend aviator style. Feel free to wear it with coordinating trousers during the day and a stunning skirt at night for a fashion-forward look you’ll want to wear again and again.

Shirts

Shirts of all kinds are an essential component of a well-rounded wardrobe and look stylish on any occasion. They also provide adequate covering and a conservative look, making them perfect for dressing modestly! One of our favourite pieces by Badgley Mischka, this printed butterfly shirt is a stylish option for day-to-night attire, featuring a gorgeous silhouette. To highlight its flowing appeal, wear it with high-waisted trousers or a pair of slim-fitting jeans for a look that will take you from day to night. You could also layer this shirt with a long-sleeved bodysuit to complete the outfit!

Skirts

Since we can remember, maxi and midi skirts have been so popular, and the trend won’t be ending anytime soon. What more could you want in a statement item? They’re easy to wear, complement pretty much anything in your closet and have a casual-yet-polished look you’ll simply love. For women who prefer to dress modestly, it’s just the kind of piece you can wear from dawn ‘til dusk, so we’re going to throw this Badgley Mischka eyelet maxi skirt into the mix. It’s a gorgeous alternative to trousers, so you can ditch them when the warm weather hits. You’ll love rocking this at parties and BBQs!

Trousers

Fashionable women shouldn’t be constrained by the idea that they can only dress modestly in long skirts and maxi dresses, so instead, experiment with a variety of trouser styles to keep your wardrobe versatile and interesting. One of the few items of clothing that you can go all out on without compromising your conservative style is a pair of trousers, as they can transform even the most traditional tops and tunics into a contemporary outfit. Your day-to-day wardrobe will benefit from the addition of these jersey  wide leg trousers from Kim & Co. The seamless fabric combination feels soft against the skin, which is combined with a flared silhouette and slim waistline for a sleek appearance. Additionally, this essential item emanates a fashionable vibe with a wide-leg design and a waist that sits high on your figure, making them ultra-flattering too.

Tips on styling modestly

Whatever the motivation behind your fashion choice, you should be aware that modest clothing doesn’t equate to being unfashionable. It offers unparalleled comfort and self-assurance that lets you look and feel your very best. Even so, choosing modest clothing can be difficult because there are so many options, and it can seem overwhelming, but never fear! We promise that it’s not as difficult as it seems. We’ve got three suggestions to help you if you want to dress modestly while still looking stylish:

Colour

Dressing modestly is the perfect excuse to experiment with colour. It’s a good idea to mix several tones of the same colour in one outfit – for example, you can try pairing a brighter-coloured blazer with neutral-coloured slacks and a medium-toned shirt to create contrast. On the other hand, if you’re feeling brave, why not go for an on-trend clashing look by combining similar shades next to each other (we recommend only choosing two if you’re going for this look!). The choice is yours, but however you want to go about it, styling with colour is the perfect way to put together sophisticated yet subtle outfits.

Accessories

Accessories like charming necklaces, regal bracelets and dazzling belts will complement any of your favourite outfits. We have a range of different pieces that are sure to help you slay the day, whether you need to complete your look for the office, weekend away or an evening out – we’ve got your back! There are so many to choose from in our edit, so we thought we’d share our top favourite with you. Our season’s pick would have to be the Radley London Provence grab bag for its sophisticated, stylish and versatile design. Oh, and did we mention that it has plenty of pockets to keep your belongings organised, as well as the added bonus of a detachable body strap? It’s a 2-in-1 accessory that you can style in any way you want.

You can experiment for a very long time with pattern and texture, and it always creates maximum style impact. Unconventional dresses with patterns like pinstripes, tartan, polka dots, flowers or geometric shapes are excellent choices to start with as your base, then you can layer things like jackets, scarves and much more on top to balance it out. The current trend for creative and retro aesthetics can be achieved by layering a textured notched-collar blazer over another shirt, or you can go for something simple and classic like a patterned tee combined with a plain maxi skirt. Look for styles that will make you feel comfortable, while also letting you stand out from the crowd.

The season of sunshine, socialising and sangria is nearly here! So we thought we’d turn our attention to our summer fashion range and how you can use it to create a capsule wardrobe.

The idea behind a capsule wardrobe is to choose a few versatile quality pieces that you can mix and match to your heart’s content. This premise works especially well for summertime, when we’d all rather be spending long evenings outdoors rather than frantically trying to put together an outfit that matches for the next day. With tips from QVC Stylist, Laura Johnson, and some of our favourite fashion finds, we’ll have you creating a capsule summer wardrobe like a pro.

Pick a printed skirt

First up, Laura tells us, “printed skirts are a must this summer and can be worn casually with a pair of pumps or with a pair of mules for an evening out”. You can see this trend popping up from many of the fashion brands here at QVC right now, with the likes of this eye-catching floral print skirt by Kim & Co and the gorgeous sunflower print Auriel skirt from Joules recently arriving.

We’re going to put this printed skort from Cuddl Dudds in the mix here too, as an excellent alternative for those wanting the comfort and security of shorts but with all the style of a chic summer skirt. They’re a good choice for those more active days too, teamed with a pair of trainers and any casual tee.

Grab a go-to pair of bottoms

Seeing as we don’t live in what anyone would describe as a tropical climate, there’s a good chance we can wear trousers (or even jeans) year-round. But what you can do for summer is to swap the classic blue or black hue for something a little brighter! Laura recommends, “a neutral white pair of trousers or jeans – they’re an essential summer must-have to freshen up any look.”

These cropped jeans from Joules are a good go-to for lunches out, strolls along the seaside and more. Try pairing them with navy for a nautical nod. We’re also loving these wide leg palazzo trousers from Badgley Mischka and the matching cropped blouse for laid-back, relaxed looks.

Welcome a white shirt

Our next staple is something everyone should have in their wardrobe – a white shirt! Such a versatile piece useful for any time of the year. For summer, Laura suggests… “toning your outfits back down with a fresh white shirt. Wear it as a cover up unbuttoned over your favourite summer dress or button it back up and wear with some jeans and sandals for an easy stylish look. A white shirt is such a great styling piece to have in your wardrobe for dressing up or down!”

Try this chiffon shirt from WynneLayers in the breezy white Cloud option. Its unstructured shape and loose fit can be worn elegantly over anything from dresses to tops.

Jump into a jacket

Okay, maybe not literally, but having one to hand to grab on your way out the door is a must. After all, it is a British summer and with that comes rain, sun, wind and more… often all in one day. Our Stylist Laura has you covered here too, with her suggestion of a Ruth Langsford denim jacket, saying “it’s the perfect cover up to see you through those sunny days and slightly chillier evenings.”

There are a few options to pick from in Ruth’s range, including this semi-fitted denim jacket. It comes in a classic Dark Indigo colour, but we’re leaning towards the lighter Mid Wash for the brighter months.

Adding those key accessories

A capsule wardrobe wouldn’t be complete without the perfect accessories. Picture yourself sightseeing in these sporty wedge sandals from Skechers. Whether you’re wearing a top and casual trousers combo or you’re in your favourite maxi dress, they’ll go! Now, add a statement necklace like the Buddy Heart semi-precious stone necklace from Lola Rose.

Looks good right? Especially as Laura’s final tip is to “go bold and add bright pops of colour to your wardrobe. Hot pinks and lime greens are the summer colour must-haves this season.” This Sweet Pink Quartzite option is the one to go for then!

We hope our selection will help you find the capsule wardrobe staples you need for the long-awaited sunny season. Head over to our Summer Fashion Collection to see even more tempting styles.

It’s not long now until the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee bank holiday, which takes place from 2nd to 5th June. There’ll be plenty of celebrations happening over the weekend to acknowledge this historical event and whether you’re watching the spectacles, attending (or hosting!) parties, or making the most of the extra days off relaxing, we’ll ensure you do it all in style.

Our Looks to Celebrate fashion edit is full of vibrant dresses, summery separates plus dazzling accessories worthy of a royal celebration, which is why we’re delving into it for outfit ideas! Take a look, be inspired and get your Jubilee weekend outfits sorted.

Red, white and blue

It might be an obvious one but if you’re wanting to get straight into the spirit of things, then what better way than with the colours of the Union Jack flag?! You could rock all three colours yourself or get playful with friends and family by assigning each person a colour to wear. We’ve got a number of options in our style edit including this pair of wide leg trousers from Denim & Co, which come in Blue or Red.

Featuring a fashionable spot print and cropped length, they’ll work with all kinds of footwear but we’re especially loving them with wedges for a celebratory party feel. Simply add a plain white T-shirt and you’re good to go from street party to Sunday lunch.

Maximum impact

A sleeveless maxi dress is ideal for this time of year and if the weekend proves to be a warm one (here’s hoping!), it’ll help you to stay comfortable in the heat. To match the joyful buzz in the air, how about getting one in a cheery print? This printed maxi dress from Kim & Co is a playful option available in Petite and Regular sizes and comes in your choice of three colourful prints.

If you’re finding yourself outside until late in the evening (those street parties might go on!) or you prefer a more covered look, pop on a lightweight layer like this Kim & Co bolero or Cuddl Duds wrap. For footwear you can go as smart or casual as you like, opting for trainers, sandals or heels.

Cool casual

Of course, you don’t have to make it too dressy! A versatile casual outfit might be just the thing to fit in with all your plans or the perfect go-to for relaxing at home in, cup of tea in hand. We’re loving this new arrival from White Stuff for exactly that: the Selina jumpsuit. Made from a comfortable cotton-mix jersey fabric and boasting a slouchy, relaxed fit, it’s a jumpsuit you’ll be happy to wear all day long (maybe even all weekend long!!).

The sleeveless style of this jumpsuit makes it great for wearing over all kinds of tops. Embrace nautical vibes like here by teaming it with a striped tee or try it with a shirt for a more smart-casual ensemble. The Annie shirt, also from White Stuff, is our top pick right now! Add a pair of white trainers and your outfit is complete.

The crown jewels

Okay, we might not quite have those for you, but you can still accessorise yourself with sensational sparkle that’ll have you feeling like a queen yourself. Turn to tanzanite for majestic pieces that exude opulence, such as this premium platinum ring which boasts a vivid blue AAAA tanzanite gemstone at the centre surrounded by diamonds – mesmerising!

For fans of Diamonique, don’t miss their dedicated Jubilee range, which includes simulated diamond and sterling silver pieces with a commemorative Platinum Jubilee hallmark to mark the occasion. As well as elevating your own outfits, these beautiful designs are also ideal for gifting to loved ones.

That’s all for our Jubilee weekend outfits round-up, but there’s lots more to inspire you in our Looks to Celebrate edit, so go and take a browse! If you’re hosting over the weekend, then check out our Summer Garden Celebration collection too and get your outside space looking party perfect.

If you’re anything like us then you’re already yearning for that summer holiday season when you can escape the rain and routine for a couple of glorious weeks in the sun. Unfortunately daydreaming about it won’t make it come any quicker (trust us, we’ve tried) but you can start your preparations now to ensure that you’re ready to fly at a moment’s notice.

So, what are you going to need? Well, that depends on where you’re heading…

Beach chic

Jetting off for some quality time on a sun-baked beach soaking up rays (and, perhaps, the occasional margarita)? Obviously we’re going to need to have a firm talk about sun protection later, but for the time being you’re going to want to focus on three main attributes in terms of your sartorial selection; you’re going to want ’em loose, bright and water-friendly.

Naturalizer Slide sandals

Beach or resort holidays naturally revolve around water so a swimsuit (or several) is going to be a good starting point in terms of packing. We love this one-piece from Ruth Langsford’s Holiday shop collection and she’s even got a beautiful sarong to accompany it. Throw in some sandals like these Naturalizer Slides and you’ve got yourself an easy look you can wear to and from the water and beyond, should the fancy take you.

Dannii Minogue midi skirt

In the scorching heat of most beach holidays it’s good to give yourself a selection of loose and easy-breezy cover-ups that will help you to stay cool without necessarily leaving too much skin at the mercy of the sun’s rays. A beautiful midi skirt, such as this cheerful number from Dannii Minogue’s range or these bright and beautiful palazzo trousers from Ruth Langsford will provide breathable cover for your pins and can even be teamed with swimwear to ensure you’re dip-ready at a moment’s notice!

Ruth Langsford Summer Palazzo trousers

Staycay bae

There’s no need to jump on a southbound airplane to soak up the summer sun – there’s plenty to be had in good ol’ Blighty (fingers crossed) and some remarkable sights and landscapes to be enjoyed while you’re there. So, whether you’re likely to be renting a deckchair at Brighton Pier or roaming the Lake District, the main packing touchstones for your summer staycation are; cover-ups, comfort and layering.

Ruth Langsford wearing a linen blazer

Our earlier optimism aside, British weather is a changeable beast that can sometimes send all four seasons at you in the space of a few minutes. Multiple light layers are the easiest way to stay one step ahead and save you from goosebumps in an unseasonably chill breeze or surprise sunburn on a long walk (don’t make us tap the SPF sign again). This gorgeous linen mix blazer from Ruth Langsford will add summer style to any occasion and her lightweight slub cardi is another great way to add versatile layers to any outfit.

Dannii Minogue wearing a pink dress

Dressing comfortably is an easy way to ensure that you enjoy your holiday and avoid feeling self-conscious in unfamiliar outfits. But you don’t have to sacrifice style in order to feel at ease as this elegant jersey dress from Dannii Minogue and these versatile cotton twill trousers demonstrate.

Twill trousers

Pretty in the city

You’ve got to love a city break; no transfers, metropolitan atmosphere, a chance to drop into the middle of things and immerse yourself in a different culture, visiting historical sites and breath-taking architectural wonders.

We don’t know about you but when we imagine our city breaks we get very ‘Sex and the City’ about it: all elegance, empowerment and sharp dressing. That’s why our watchwords in terms of packing for these breaks are; neutral, sophisticated and low fuss.

WynneLayers jumpsuit

Whatever silver-screen screwball comedies may have told us, you do not want a steamer trunk full of fly-away fashion fancies that need the travel-creases steaming out of them and will take to the sky at the slightest breeze. That’s where this wonderfully elegant jumpsuit from WynneLayers comes in. Team it with these gorgeous Vera block heel sandals from Naturalizer and you’ll be exuding natural urbanite charm in no time.

Naturalizer heeled sandal

The key is having travel-resistant clothes that are smart enough to make your trip feel like an event for you but casual enough that they don’t mark you out as a tourist while you’re there. We love the idea of these crisply understated crop trousers from Ruth Langsford paired with this beautiful blouse from Du Jour and finished off with this cute satchel from Paul Costelloe.

Right, time to hit the hotel bar. Make ours a Manhattan!

We’ve all become even more aware of the impact waste is having on the planet in recent years, which is why QVC UK is proud to work with brands such as Du Jour that are striving to source recycled fabrications wherever possible in the production of gorgeous fashion.

Much of the clothing in the Du Jour range contains recycled post-consumer polyester, a material that comes from plastic waste such as bottles (which are all too often found in oceans, landfills and the environment around us). This plastic waste is then crushed into fine flakes and spun into polyester fibres that can be woven into fabrics.

One of the most amazing things about this process is it doesn’t mean anything is taken away from the comfort or stylish appearance of clothes, as the fabulous Du Jour collection shows us. Take a look at these beauties, all crafted from 92% recycled post-consumer polyester, and see for yourself!

Floral print midi dress

This stunning midi dress will have you greeting the summer sun with a bright floral display of your own. Decorated with an eye-catching floral print all over and featuring a pretty frilled hemline, it’s a cheerful style we know will bring joy to you and your wardrobe.

Floral print top

Another one covered in fabulous florals is this bold and breezy 3/4 length sleeve top. The popping print provides you with the perfect way to brighten up any look, while the flattering loose-fitting shape will help you stay comfortable even on those warm summer days.

Palazzo trousers

When it comes to comfort, it doesn’t get much more comfortable than a pair of palazzo trousers like these. Their wide-leg design and elasticated waistband allow for plenty of movement so you can go from home, to work, to lunch, feeling and looking good.

Wrap front floral top

Because we don’t think you can have enough florals in your wardrobe, here’s another gorgeous top covered in beautiful blooms. It comes in a chic Black Floral or statement Orange Floral and features a flattering wrap shape that nips in at all the right places. Pair it with jeans for stylish contrast or these matching floral print palazzo trousers for a head-turning look.

Palm print midi dress

Even if you’re not soaking up the sun on holiday (or even if you are!), this fashionable palm print dress will bring the beach vibes straight to you. Team it with flip-flops, sandals or go bare foot on the sand and embrace all things tropical.

To discover more beautiful, thoughtfully made clothes, explore the rest of the Du Jour collection here.
