Hello, I’m Charlotte, the new talent stylist. And whilst I’m an old hand at QVC, having worked here for over 12 years, this is new territory for me, stepping into the role left vacant by the uber chic and ever-so-talented Stine Wintlev.

Whilst finishing off a glorious year of maternity leave, Stine and I have been working remotely (her from Denmark… jealous much, me from my parents house while they look after baby Monty downstairs) to hand over the fantastic fashion reins, and I am raring to go and get to grips with what the presenters and QVC fashion has been up to while I’ve been off.

Until my time away, I managed the team of fashion stylists who work so super hard to bring you all our live fashion hours. As I said before, I started at QVC many moons ago as a fashion assistant and have slowly but surely climbed the ranks, growing and learning everything there is to know about everyone’s favourite shopping channel. So hopefully the presenters will feel they are in good hands.

While I’ve been away, we’ve started selling amazing new brands such as Julien Macdonald, Finery and Badgley Mishka so I thought I would start to acclimatise myself to diving into some of our freshest fashion with a particular focus today on summer trousers.

As I write this, the sun is gloriously shining outside but let’s be honest, these hazy days can be few and far between so a summer trouser is definitely a wardrobe essential for us brits (sob) But don’t despair, the selection below will still keep you with a seasonal spring in your step.

Opt for a fresh pastel shade like these (very lux-like) tracksuit bottoms from Finery. The additional perk of a stretchy waistband will keep you happy all BBQ season long.

Don’t feel you have to pack the leather looks away during the warmer months. Switch up your classic black for navy. You’ll still be looking as sophisticated as ever but giving a nod to this more relaxed time of year.

Finally, nothing says summer quite like a safari-esque zebra print. This pair is from the fashion maestro himself Julien Macdonald. Mix up your monochromes and clash them with a striped T-shirt, as shown here.

Thanks for reading my first blog post. For a more frequent fashion fix, follow me @stylistqvc for all the latest on what the presenters are wearing.

Are you ready to inject more fun and colour into your wardrobe? Because singer and TV personality Brenda Edwards is here to help you do it, as she showcases pieces from some of her favourite QVC brands in the Brenda Edwards Style show. First airing at 8pm – 9pm this Thursday (9th June), it’s one to watch for the latest fashion ideas, brought to you in a passionate and engaging way.

We recently caught up with Brenda to find out more about it and the inspirational woman herself.

Hi Brenda, we’re very excited about the Style show! Are you looking forward to getting started?

“I’m very excited to get started on my Style show. I’ve been keeping the secret of joining the QVC family since mid-2021 and I’m really looking forward to helping to boost the confidence of the viewers with my style.”

What can viewers expect from the show?

“You can expect to hear some stories of the challenges that I have faced over the years shopping for what I want and how I overcome them, which isn’t always easy. I want to show how to have fun with fashion and not be scared to go for it with colour and print. I will be putting outfits together from head-to-toe, to achieve that complete look.”

What are some of your favourite QVC fashion brands?

“Some of my favourites from QVC include Julien Macdonald, Phase Eight, Helene Berman, Denim & Co. and Du Jour. I’m also a bit of a magpie and love shiny things, so naturally I’m attracted to the Diamonique range and of course, my dear friend and fellow Loose Women colleague, Ruth Langsford (to name a few).”

Are there any designs you’ve got your eye on at the minute?

“I have been wearing a lot of Kim & Co – I have an outfit for every event. I love the comfortable cut and feel of their garments.”

Where does your love of fashion come from?

“When I was younger, I wanted to do two things – to attend performing arts school and to make my own clothes to wear. I always knew I wanted to do something creative and music and fashion go hand in hand beautifully. I used to draw up little outfit ideas for when I was performing and I would save up my money and ask a friend to make them up for me. I loved the fact that no one else had my outfit on if I went out on that stage and really enjoyed creating my own pieces back then.

For me, it’s about how I feel when wearing my clothes. I always want to feel confident and happy when I step outside, and how I look naturally assists that. And a nice bit of jewellery is a bonus to give my outfit that sprinkle of sparkle! I love to find the right accessories for my clothes with a beautiful jewellery set.”

We often see you in fabulous jumpsuits, what do you like about jumpsuits especially?

“My staple piece in my wardrobe is the jumpsuit. I like to wear jumpsuits for ease, and you don’t have to always think about what top goes with what bottom, or if the dress is dressy enough or long enough. The jumpsuit can be effortless. I used to think that I had skinny ankles, so didn’t tend to wear many dresses. In my mind, I wanted to cover my ankles up as much as possible and jumpsuits, trousers or jeans would do just that.”

You also know how to rock vibrant colours and bold prints! Do you have any tips on how to wear them?

“I always used to wear black. Bold colour and prints were the last thing you would see me in, and then when I went through cancer and chemotherapy, I wanted to do something to give me a pick-me-up and restore my confidence in my body after undergoing surgery. I realised that wearing colours and prints would really make me smile and feel empowered in my clothes. My advice is to just try introducing a little pop of colour and print here and there to start with. I admit that my wardrobe is predominantly bold colours, prints and sparkles now!”

Do you have a favourite print?

“I’m more into geometric prints than animal ones, and I do love a polka dot too.”

It’s all about summer styling right now, so do you have any go-to’s when dressing for a warm day?

“When dressing for a warm day it’s all about comfort, so a lightweight flare jumpsuit, with a nice wedge or pump for comfort in the feet. I’d usually put my hair in a ponytail, showing off my hoop earrings, with a matching chain and bangle maybe, and a bag big enough to hold my little bolero for later should the weather change, which in the UK it usually does!”

Lastly, if there was one item from your wardrobe you couldn’t be without, what would it be?

“I guess really the one item from my wardrobe that I couldn’t be without would be my standard black jumpsuit as it’s suitable for all occasions. Some things don’t change!”

Thanks so much Brenda!

To watch the Brenda Edwards Style show, tune in to QVC Live at 8pm this Thursday. In the meantime, get a sneak peak of what Brenda’s loving and shop the styles on our website here.

Hello fashion lovers! I have some exciting news for you… we have another fun fashion-packed day in store for you here at QVC this Friday 25th March. Expect lots of new season pieces from your favourite brands, styling tips from the experts and a fab fashion offer from Kim & Co. To showcase some of the many styles currently available online, I had the pleasure of styling our very own Jackie Kabler (@officialjackiekabler) in a selection of pieces to inspire your spring wardrobe.

Jacket by Kim & Co (Friday’s fashion offer). Top by WynneLayers. Skirt by Dannii Minogue. Trainer by Moda in Pelle.

The first look is inspired by the Pantone colour of the year ‘Very Peri’ which is a chic take on pastels and is easily achievable with the ‘Mauve’ option of the Kim & Co stretch suede peplum jacket. Using this piece as the hero item, I’ve styled it with a good-quality simple black top by WynneLayers. and this fun snake print A-line skirt by Dannii Minogue. To finish, I wanted to add a touch of Jackie with these fresh white Moda in Pelle trainers, tying the whole look together perfectly.

Jacket by Denim & Co. Top by WynneLayers. Jeans by Ruth Langsford. Boots by Moda in Pelle. Bag by Lulu Guinness.

The second look is cool, classic and contemporary all at the same time, featuring some key styles that belong in any capsule wardrobe: a nice denim jacket by Denim & Co., a good-quality white vest top by WynneLayers and of course, your favourite jeans cut by Ruth Langsford. For Jackie, that’s her signature slim leg. Styled with all tan accessories by Moda in Pelle and Lulu Guinness, this look oozes timeless elegance.

Now, I alluded to something in the title of this blog and it’s true… the time has come for me to hang up my shoes as the in-house talent stylist and as such, this will be my last blog post. After almost two years and countless hours spent with our lovely presenters, some lucky new person will be taking over soon. So watch this space… it’s been an absolute pleasure. Now, the show must go on!

We recently caught up with QVC presenter Ophelia Dennis to see how she’s switching up her style this year and what wardrobe changes she’ll be making as we breeze into spring.

Hi Ophelia! Firstly, how would you describe your usual style?

Sophisticated and sassy! I love anything high waisted and waist belts – high-waisted joggers are my thing. I’ve got a Monsoon pair that I wore for a show the other day that I absolutely love. I like to wear them with a bodysuit and some heels. I’m also a big fan of a midi dress and a coordinated two-piece.

How are you changing up your wardrobe this year?

I wear lots of dark colours but I’ve been trying to be bolder with brights. This is an on-going journey  I’m on myself, because I used to feel very self-conscious about wearing colour and always thinking I didn’t suit it. Someone told me back in the day that my tone was too dark to wear bright colours and that stayed with me, but now I’m really trying to work with stylists and make-up artists to embrace more colour. I really only ever used to wear bright colours on my birthday, when my hair and nails are all done and I’m feeling confident… like I could pull it off. So, trying to bring more colour into my everyday look is the aim. Oh an more print as well!

Are there any particular prints you’d like to try?

I’ve always like leopard print and have enjoyed wearing one or two pieces over the years so definitely animal print. Tie dye clothing as well for those brighter colours.

Do you have any tips for anyone wanting to wear more colour?

Go for colours you like, don’t listen to everyone else. That was one tip our stylist Stine told me. Everyone else might be telling you what looks good but if you don’t like it, don’t bother! There will be a colour that you do like. What I did was to start small, so I’d wear an accessory or a nail polish in a bright colour first, it’s the best way to begin if you’re feeling worried.

How will you be adapting your style for spring?

I used to feel self-conscious in skinny jeans, thinking everyone else looked nice in them, but I do like how they look and feel so I’m going to try those again. Florals as well, going back to the print, because I see them on other people and think they look lovely but then I’m not sure I can pull it off. Again, someone once said I don’t suit florals and it’s weird how these things can stay with you for years, whether you do or don’t! But I like floral prints and have worn them since, and it’s about how I feel isn’t it opposed to what anyone else thinks? So I’d like to wear more.

What fabrics will you be turning to as it gets warmer?

Modal and cotton, especially in a flowy shirt as it feels so soft against your skin. I was wearing a cotton one from White Stuff recently, they have a lot of nice options.

Are there any other QVC brands you’ve got your eye on right now?

Dannii Minogue, especially as she’s got the Petite range and always has lots of nice prints. I recently ordered this pleated skirt in the lovely Orange Palm. JM Fashion by Julien Macdonald too, he does lots of bold stuff that I’d have shied away from before but would like to try. Also Kim & Co, because I looove a jumpsuit!! I typically wear the plain coloured ones but maybe I’ll branch out with some of the prints.

Are there any brands you’ve not tried much of yet but would like to?

There’s an artsy brand… Artscapes! I recently tried one of their tops and quite like the more African type prints they do. Both my parents are from Africa so I like that I can relate to it. I’d definitely like to try wearing more of their clothes as I hardly have anything from them.

Lastly, when it comes to fashion what is it that makes you feel good?

The fact that I’m embracing new colours and new clothes. It makes me feel like I’m growing in fashion and that I’m leaving insecurities behind, and makes me feel empowered trying new things, my way.

Thanks Ophelia!

We recently caught up with QVC presenter Julia Roberts to discuss all things fashion, including how she’ll be changing up her style this year and refreshing her wardrobe as we head into the spring months!

Hi Julia, first up, how would you describe your usual style?

“Fairly relaxed, I don’t often do smart clothes. When I’m not at QVC I’m even more relaxed but sometimes I ‘scrub up’ to go on air! I wear a lot of separates because of my shape, as with dresses I often have to go up a size but then find it doesn’t fit nicely – depending on the brand and cut of course.”

Do you have any favourite QVC fashion brands?

“I’ve got about five pairs of MarlaWynne leggings and wear them a lot on air. They’re nice as a base as they give you the opportunity to try lots of different things on top. I always liked Together, which we no longer stock, so I’m at a bit of a cross-roads now trying bits and pieces from other brands. On Beauty Day, Stine our Stylist found me a Monsoon top that I absolutely love, so it’s little finds like that which are brilliant and I’ll continue to experiment.”

Shop the look: MarlaWynne topper (coming soon as our Today’s Special Value on Tuesday 22nd February) , White Stuff jumper, Kim & Co pleather trousers, Moda in Pelle sandals.

Is there anything else you’re thinking of trying out or changing in your wardrobe this year?

“I often wear things that cover me up, but I lost a little bit of weight recently so I’ve started to feel a bit more confident and might start looking into things that are more fitted going forward. I’d like to experiment with clothes from brands like Finery, as I don’t have anything in my wardrobe from them, as well as Monsoon and White Stuff because they’re a little bit retro. As they say in fashion, what comes around goes around, and what I was wearing (probably back in the 1980s) is back in fashion… which is great because I liked it then and I still like it now!”

Shop the look: Ruth Langsford denim jacket, Finery dress, Moda in Pelle boots.

Are there any other collections or new-season pieces you’ve got your eye on?

“I’m a big fan of Skechers and their apparel collection right now because I’ve been able to get back to the gym and I use my AeroPilates machine virtually every day. Their workout leggings are especially great – they’re a really good fit, comfortable and wash well. I absolutely love Skechers’ Archfit trainers as well for working out in. I also like Centigrade and tend to keep an eye out for a new coat from them every year. Their spring/summer jackets are fantastic too.”

How will you be adapting your wardrobe for spring?

“Lots of colour and natural fabrics, I really like cotton, viscose and jersey designs. Midi dresses are great in spring, but I have to be careful with those as I’m not very tall so sometimes they can be too long on me.”

Are there any prints you’d like to wear more of or try?

“If I do print, I tend to be drawn more towards florals, but I remember wearing a Dennis Basso shirt years ago that had a graphic print and it actually looked really nice on me. So I’d like to be more adventurous with graphic and abstract prints.”

Shop the look: Frank Usher dress, Clarks sandals.

If someone was looking for a style confidence boost, is there anything you’d recommend?

“Ignore the size on the label and buy a size you’re comfortable in. I think sometimes we buy things because we tell ourselves ‘well, that’s the size I am’, but it can feel a bit tight and restrictive. If you feel uncomfortable in your clothes you won’t feel confident, so even if you have to buy a bigger size, buy the size that you feel good in. I think if you’re not worried about your clothes you automatically look more relaxed anyway so I’m always happy to go up a size or even two for the right fit.”

Lastly, what go-to accessories would you choose to refresh an outfit?

“I love shoes! But I can’t wear high heels because of ankle issues so if there was one thing I wish I could wear, I would have to say high heeled shoes. But apart from that, I think jewellery is a nice finishing touch for any outfit. I especially like earrings and how they frame your face. I’ve got pierced ears and probably don’t ever go out without earrings in!”

Feeling inspired to switch up your own wardrobe? Take a look at our Reset Your Style collection for the latest fashion, shoes and accessories, and breeze into spring feeling refreshed.

What’s happening at QVC? Check out my latest reel on Instagram.

Happy 2022, folks! New year, new blog post. I thought we could all do with a fresh new perspective as well as something to look forward to, so I’m bringing you an exclusive sneak peek with some behind-the-scenes snippets from an upcoming campaign we’ve been shooting at the Q.

Spring is just around the corner and I for one am already embracing the lighter days ahead. So I wanted this sentiment to come across in the outfits seen here styled on Catherine Huntley (@catherinehuntleytv) and Annaliese Dayes (@annaliesedayes).

Catherine and I work very closely on her on-air wardrobe and I wanted to make sure her overall style vibe was reflected in this look as well. Always inspired by the classic 50s – 70s vintage woman, I also wanted to incorporate a contemporary element to the outfit making it timeless and letting the essence of Catherine shine through. The tailored Helene Berman blazer ties the whole look together, lush!

Lights, camera, action!

Make-up artist Jourdan (@makeupwithjourdan) working her magic!

Having already done a few shoots with Annaliese, I know we can always take her look to the next level. Being a bit of a fashion chameleon, she’s always up for trying something new and in this instance the main objective was pairing the outfit back – if you’re familiar with this lady, you’ll know she’s all about her bright colours and bold styles! Instead, we went for an impactful silhouette and texture with this Frank Usher faux leather shacket, Finery cropped denim trousers and chunky Dune boots. Something different, something fresh.

Strike a pose!

I hope these lighter, brighter layers on these bold, beautiful women have made you look forward to spring – stay tuned for when the campaign goes live on the QVC platforms, I can pretty much guarantee it will leave you feeling invigorated and inspired.

It’s December, folks. That last month of the year where the days are at their shortest, the lights at night burn brightest and the weather turns wintery (and particularly cold this time around, may I add!). All of which has gotten me in the mood for some seriously cosy casual wear – without compromising on the cool factor, of course.

I’m thinking candlelight (or an open fireplace, if you’re lucky enough to be near one), National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on the telly and leftover Christmas food in my belly… those days where you just want to throw on something comfy but still look and feel fabulous.

Whether you’re keeping it casual with the co-ord jogger set from Finery or turning up that festive feeling in the jewelled crystal button cardi from Frank Usher (I’d wear this with a red lip and nothing else), I can almost guarantee you’ll want to live in these pieces I’ve hand-picked for my QVC Christmas edit – perfect for a classic case of crimbo limbo. Now, someone please pass the chocolate!

Hey there, hope you’re all keeping well. It’s been a wee while since I’ve posted anything on here, so I thought it was about time I did! And what better time of year to talk festive wear, which is what I’ve been working on in the background as well as keeping busy with the fashion side of things for our fabulous presenter team.

Some of you may already follow me on Instagram and might have noticed I’ve started a new IGTV series called ‘Stine’s Style Selection’. I’ll be doing these videos on a regular basis to keep you all up to date with my top picks and the best of what QVC UK currently has to offer in fashion, shoes and accessories.

Due to popular demand, I’m already five episodes in and always planning the next one – I’ve been overwhelmed by all the lovely comments and feedback I’ve received so far so thank you all very much! I always appreciate you taking the time to watch and knowing what resonates with you so I can keep the content coming.

So far I’ve done a few collaborations feat. presenters Katy Pullinger (@katypullinger) and in the latest, Eilidh Nairn (@eilidhnairntv), who joined me for a chat on all things maternity fashion (catch it here), as well as an episode I did on Modest Fashion feat. Studio Director Tonbara Joses (catch it here).

You can catch the latest episode featuring all the below pieces here… I hope this edit leaves you feeling inspired, and may this season be particularly festive and fun!

Autumn comes this time each year… is that how the saying goes? It’s officially October and here at the QVC headquarters, we’ve been busier than ever prepping for the festive season ahead with a studio revamp (how gorgeous do the new sets look?!) and lots of exciting brands joining our ever-growing fashion selection. Whether you’re keen to keep it casual or going all in on glitz and glamour this year, we’re excited to bring you some fab new transitional pieces to complete your winter wardrobe.

That’s right, we have a whopping two-day fashion event coming up on the 5th and 6th October, with two fantastic fashion Today’s Special Value (TSV) items you don’t want to miss! To tease ahead, I put together some looks featuring key pieces so you can even shop ahead and treat yourself to something nice if you’re feeling inspired.

For this edit, I had the pleasure of dressing one of our newest presenters, Ophelia Dennis (@ophyliatv), as well as two of our QVC all-stars Alison Keenan (@alikeenan1) and Pipa Gordon (@pipasqtv). I absolutely loved working with such a variety of talent, each with their own unique style. With a great selection of brands across the board (including a very exciting fashion launch… keep reading for more on that!), I hope you enjoy the looks. Happy shopping!

Ophelia – Look 1

Jumper by Ruth Langsford. Skirt by Helene Berman. Boots by Moda in Pelle.

Ophelia – Look 2

Jacket and jumper by Ruth Langsford. Jeggings by White Stuff.

Boots by Moda in Pelle (TSV on 6th October).

For Ophelia, we went all in on the glitz and glamour – you should have seen the stars in her eyes when I brought out the amazing Helene Berman midi skirt! Another clear winner was this brand-new Ruth Langsford aviator jacket. So stylish and timeless and will instantly add a cool touch to your look. Let’s not forget about the Moda in Pelle hiker boots… you wouldn’t believe it, they’re Wednesday’s Today’s Special Value!

Ali – Look 1

Jumper by Cuddl Duds. Jeans by Joules.

Boots by Moda in Pelle (TSV on 6th October).

Ali – Look 2

Blouse by Monsoon. Jeans by Joules. Boots by Moda in Pelle. Hat is Alison’s own.

Alison’s looks are all about cool comfort and understated elegance. She absolutely fell in love with the Moda in Pelle hiker boots in the cream colour, perfectly paired with the Cuddl Duds jumper. So cosy! If you want to elevate the look slightly, why not opt for the floral Monsoon blouse and heeled ankle boots instead? The rich autumnal tones will take you straight into the new season.

Pipa x JM Fashion by Julien Macdonald – Look 1

All items by JM Fashion by Julien Macdonald.

Pipa x JM Fashion by Julien Macdonald – Look 2

Shirt by JM Fashion by Julien Macdonald (TSV on 5th October)

Pipa x JM Fashion by Julien Macdonald – Look 3

All items by JM Fashion by Julien Macdonald.

And last, but not least, Pipa rocking three head-to-toe looks from none other than Julien Macdonald who is bringing his brand new JM Fashion collection to QVC. We’re beyond excited to reveal the full range. It all kicks off tonight at 21:00 so be sure to mark your calendars!

If you’d like to keep up with all the latest in presenter style, my QVC fashion picks and behind-the-scenes action, you can also find me over on Instagram.
