What day is it?

Hello, I hope you’re well and your loved ones are too. It’s such a horrid and anxious time right now. It’s been lovely to see the messages on social thanking us for bringing some fun and normality into your homes. We’re trying our best and our production, back stage, customer service, warehouse and cleaning crew are all amazing. It is definitely a team effort… all 2m apart and with lots of hand washing of course!

So in my last blog, I mentioned I was going to paint the front door! That has been accomplished! I love it, Scott’s not so sure!

The kids and I also did a fab job on the rainbow for all the key workers, and have been clapping at 8 on Thursdays.

They’re coping remarkably well… probably way too much iPad time but we all need to protect our mental health right now. If you’re fighting over the TV in your house, or you want something to entertain the kids, then this Amazon Kids Fire 7 is a good option and has a protective cover which is handy if yours are as clumsy as mine!

Other chores I have achieved, have been painting the garden fences and the garden shed – not too shabby a job!

I’ve ordered some plants and some compost from QVC so can’t wait for those to arrive to sort the beds out.

I celebrated my birthday a couple of weeks ago, thank you so much to a lovely viewer, Clare, who sent me this. So kind! I love them!

Kindness is definitely something that I’ve been enjoying in our community, my neighbours and friends came and had safe distancing drinks over the garden wall with me on my birthday. We have been helping each other out with shopping. It’s been truly lovely.

I have also been sharing, as I managed to randomly order 25kg of flour!! So I’ve shared it out with the presenters at work, it’s like gold dust right now! Who thought we’d be happy to receive flour instead of flowers now!

We have some Big Deals running this week, these are my faves:

This Zen Meditation Pillow from Homedics is designed to deliver a soothing rolling neck massage that helps to gently ease away feelings of tension and features a 30 minute program complete with relaxing music to help you drift off to sleep plus an aroma tab that allows you to apply drops of your favourite oil for a full sensory experience. It has a quiet operation and is cordless, so you can find your zen anytime, anywhere.

This luxurious five-piece Gatineau collection features Face Cream, Eye Cream and Night Elixir from the popular Age Benefit range, specially designed for mature skin types, plus the much-coveted 3-in-1 Gentle Micellar Water, formulated to tone sensitive complexions while removing make-up and impurities. Complete with a cosmetics bag to keep your favourite products together, work towards tackling the visible signs of ageing and transform the look of your complexion with this comprehensive skincare edit from Gatineau.

Designed especially for QVC, this gorgeous indoor or outdoor rug from Nourison features a floral design and a soft weave detail with a striking high-low texture will add vibrant contrast and sumptuous style to your living space. The blue is my favourite!

There are lots more offers and deals on our website so please do keep checking it daily, and don’t forget to check out our podcasts too!

Please keep in touch via social – @alexkramer on Twitter and @alexkramertv on Instagram, it’s so lovely to hear from you.

Stay well and stay safe.

Much love,

  2. Come on, Alex, get a grip. I’m certain you know that it’s Tuesface the eleventy fifth of Martember today. Honestly. 😉

  3. Hi Alex I am really enjoying all the presenter blogs at this time especially when we are all anxious in these uncertain times & we are separated from our friends & family. To share our universal concerns can only be positive.
Your front door looks great! I am recovering from major surgery so am limited with physical activity but with wool I already have I have been making lightweight cotton scarves for friend’s Birthdays.
I am very impressed how QVC are managing to still carry on with shows albeit slightly different.
Your delivery hardly seems to be affected.
Stay safe and take care love Julia Smith xxx

  4. Hi Julia, what a lovely friend you are! Hope you’re well and taking it easy. Thanks for your lovely words xx

  5. Alex. Loving your short bob!! How do you style it when it’s curled? I am struggling with mine and need help!!!!

    1. Hey Lorriane, thank you 🙂 I used straighteners or a wand to get the curl, but I’m not great at it! Thankfully we have the make-up girls to help us, but if you follow Abby Horne on social and drop her a line I bet she has a tutorial to help!
      Have a lovely week. xx
