A taste of summer

Hey everyone!

Hope you’re all well and looking forward to a little taste of summer, coming shortly (fingers crossed).

I say that because so far we’ve had a couple of weeks of great weather at the start of June but then nothing much to write home about since. However, it looks like things are about to pick up a bit (in the south anyway) over the next few days and long may it continue I say. Of course with great weather comes the BBQ season and oh how I do love a “barbie”!! 😋

I bought a new one this year since moving and hopefully it will get its baptism of fire very soon (well no fire involved actually as I bought the new Kalorik Electric Barbecue we have on QVC). Still everything is weather dependent and some have said that the taste won’t be the same… however according to our lovely Lorna Ko, that is simply not the case!! I shall duly report back once the trial period is complete to give my verdict. 😉

We do however have a Today’s Special Value (TSV) coming up on Friday (tomorrow) which I have to say is possibly the best indoor grill I’ve tried for taste!! It’s the Gotham Electric Grill and I’ve used it loads with burgers, steaks and fish. I really love this and what’s more… a doddle to clean. Check out a few of the pics here. So if the great British summer isn’t so “great” weather wise… you can still have a “taste” of summer indoors.
