Hope you’re all safe and well.
All is good with me and mine and I’m happily continuing to settle in to my new abode (despite the huge skip, cement mixer and other numerous materials decorating the front and back garden). Speaking of the garden, you may have heard me mention on air that it’s a bit of a blank canvas at the moment?? Well truth be told, it’s looking a bit more like a builders yard currently!! In any event, little by little as they say….
The inside has some jobs still to do but not so you’d notice. It’s mainly me looking at changing a few things including flooring. And speaking of flooring… today you can access our amazing Today’s Special Value (TSV) from Dyson, which officially launches this Saturday (well Friday 9pm to be more precise). It’s the Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner.
Totally perfect for all your flooring (particularly if you have pets)!
There is indeed the family pet who resides alongside us and has been in the family for nearly 18 years. I have included a cheesy, fun little video here for you to meet her. Personally I don’t think she looks 18 years old at all. I’m not sure what that is in “cat years” exactly, but she is a lively little thing and is currently permanently glued to me. I’m not sure if that’s partly down to the move but the number of times I’ve nearly tripping over her is unbelievable. Things are slightly better in the new house as I had dark coloured tiles in the old kitchen, which made it a bit of a challenge to spot her at times!!
Anyway, as most pet owners will testify, they do indeed usually find their favourite spot (or in her case several spots!), whereby you are constantly cleaning up an embedded layer of pet hair!! Of course with the Dyson V11 this is made so much easier. The carpet here is quite a thick pile and honestly… Dyson makes it a doddle!! (Could that be a new tag line? Nah, probably not!!).
To be fair though, even if I didn’t have the wonderful Tomasina, I would not want to be parted with my V11. I absolutely love it and have had mine for a couple of years now. It is used daily on all my floors, which currently consist of kitchen tiles and the thick piled carpet, but will soon include wood flooring in the dining room and study.
I simply would not be without it and you have the most incredible offer coming up this weekend with the TSV. So please, pets or no pets, if you’ve been tempted in the past but as yet not succumbed… go for it!! You don’t even have to wait until the weekend as it’s already available right now!
Well I shall love you and leave you… but not for long. I’m going to be on your screens a lot over the next week or so. Very much looking forward to lots of fun and hopefully with your company too!!

I really enjoyed reading your blog and loved your video of the fabulous Tomasina – she looks like such a character 🙂
Dyson vacuums are certainly great for picking up after our furry family members, I’ve also used one for many years.

I got my Dyson last year as I have a tortoishell called Tiger. She just drops fur everywhere.

I have the last tsv from Dyson I think its the same model just different attachments (?) It was only a month or two ago and yes its amazing isn’t it!

Tomasina looks gorgeous I have 2 b&w cats (brother & sister) Oscar & Olivia and both (especially Olivia) shed hair like there’s no tomorrow but I too have the V11 and have had it for about 18 months from QVC and it was a TSV so very pleased with it. I hope you enjoy your new home and get the garden sorted soon. Look forward to seeing you on the Q.

Ann I have just watched you present the wig hour. When I first switched it on and saw you, my first reaction was wow her hair looks great. You look so much younger with that style. That’s a keeper for you.
Oh Anne, your Tomasina is so beautiful – she is the image of my dearly loved tortoisesell, Missy. Sadly, she was killed on the road in November 2016, at 11 1/2 years of age . My heart was broken, & I still miss her, & get so upset at her loss. I envy you your 18+ years with your beauty – enjoy your time with her.
