Well hello there!
I hope you had a peaceful Easter weekend. Where I live the weather was beautiful, but it’s really turned quite chilly now!
I was lucky enough to enjoy some vegan Easter treats from QVC! You may have heard many of us refer to ‘Kitchen Jo’ on air. Jo is the manager of our broadcast prep kitchen. I’ve mentioned her in my blogs in the past. Jo is an absolute gem. She is responsible for making everything look so beautiful during our food and kitchen-themed hours. She sometimes slips me the odd vegan treat to try out to get my take on it.
Cocoba offer non-vegan and vegan options at QVC but these are the ones I tried out. 813445, is a choice of Easter egg or original marshmallow filled chocolate bombes. They are blooming lovely! I heated up some oat milk and then just poured it over the bombe and watched it melt to reveal the yummy marshmallows. I was a bit cheeky and added some amaretto to mine! Check out my Instagram @catherinehuntleytv to see the scrummy, melty goodness happen. I can highly recommend!
It’s so cold today I might just be tempted to warm myself up with another delicious hot chocolate! Once the boys, Ziggycat & Bowiecat, have finished their catnap on my lap that is! The boys only moved in back in November, but it feels like they’ve always been a part of this crazy family. It’s their first birthday on Sunday. Maybe an excuse for me to have more chocolate? What am I saying? I don’t need an excuse, hee, hee!
Also, on Sunday, I’ll be joined by Keeley Aydin from Elemis for an hour of her skincare expertise at 5pm. She’s always a joy and a font of skincare knowledge, too.

Hi it’s hilly
I had been using Elemis for over 25 years to buy it over the counter unfortunately not in my budget
When a friend told me about QVC I jumped at it ha
Love watching you Catherine we have so many other iconic brands just couldn’t be without it .
.
Catherine were you aware Elemis is no longer cruelty free? I think it would be great if QVC could start to state on air whether brands are cruelty free or not and suitable for vegans.
Dearest Catherine,
Since you are a catperson I have a super important question that I believe you will be interested in also!😻
As all catowners know, some fruits and flowers are highly poisonous to cats.
Is there hence a danger with any of the products qvc sells containing grape seed oil (grapes are poisonous to cats) retinol, resveratrol or any other very active ingredients…(For example several brands has aha, glycolic or salisylic acid in body serums and hand/foot creams) is all this safe if I apply it, go to bed and then the cat decides to lets say lick my hands?👀
Also I agree with the other comments about stating on the products page if it’s cruelty free or not- it’s really REALLY important, crucial, for many of us❤️🐾
Lots of love from sweden to you and your cats!
Catherine. Can I say how lovely you looked in that Helene Berman dress you wore today.
Catherine not seen you for a long time hope everything is good for you..
i have not seen you for ages catherine i miss you have you left qvc
