Anniversaries, sandals and being grumpy

Hello! I hope you are keeping safe and well. I haven’t been on-air during the last week or so as I have been using up some leave (after using hardly any last year for obvious reasons) but I will be back with you on the weekend for some gardening. I look forward to being back!

It was my partner and I’s anniversary last week, so we took a visit to historic Rye. I hadn’t been there in years, so it was great to be back. We got lucky with the sunshine greeting us as we arrived on Camber Sands. Take a look at this video on my Instagram where you can see my reaction to arriving! Other than the initial sunshine though, we were rather unlucky with the weather with lots of rain and drizzle. We still had fun, met some great people and enjoyed celebrating together.

And there’s a lot to look forward to when I join you again this weekend…
