Castles, seaside and exciting times!

Hello! I hope this blog finds you safe and well.

This is my first blog in about three weeks as I had some leave and was due to be in Spain but having postponed that, I took advantage to enjoy some time off and catch up with family and friends.

I started by having a wonderful few days in Bristol with family. It was the first time I had seen them since before lockdown and I had missed them so much. We had great fun and one of the highlights was visiting Blaise Castle, where we trekked uphill to find the mystery cast. Ruby was so happy: “We found the castle, Uncle Craig, we found it!” she said!

Jasmine and I also had some fun creating the ‘Castle in the palm of my hand’ photo. In the other photo you can see us giggling as we all squint in the sunlight.

The following week I took a trip to Brighton with my partner and some friends and it was such a treat, to be served in a restaurant again – pure joy! I got to see my dear friend Alexa who lives there and we had coffee in the marina. I did an Instagram TV where I shared my thoughts on my new found gratitude, which you can watch here.

Once we were back in London, I was lucky enough to attend a very special social distance concert at the London Palladium. It was Beverly knight performing, and my wonderful friend and colleague Clare Edmondson who had been invited.

It was a way for the theatres to show that they can open safely with reduced numbers. Reduced audience or not, Ms Knight put on a brilliant show! In the picture you can see us outside the stage door of the palladium.

So, I’ve been back to work for a week now – and it’s great to be back! I have some really exciting shows coming up over the next few days…

Today, it’s The Real Pie Company. Remember, these aren’t just for the colder months – the pies are delicious eaten with new potatoes and veg or even a mixed salad. The sausage rolls and pasties are great for sharing platters in the garden or on picnics.

Saturday, it’s gardening and DIY with the wonderful Mark Lane from BBC’s Gardeners World and a whole host of expert guests.

Sunday is a really exciting day. As you know, I am a huge fan of the British beauty brand SBC and they have a brilliant Today’s Special Value (241541) featuring some old favourites and a new product launch.

The five-piece collection contains a supersize Hydra-Collagen Moisturising Gel, Intensive Serum and Day and Night Cream, plus the new Hydra-Collagen & Black Pearl Body Wash, which is as sumptuous as it is refreshing and hydrating.

Join myself and the wonderful Adele for the 11am and 2pm shows to find out more! I am then hosting the QVC sale shows on Monday and Tuesday. So as you can see, it’s all go, go, go!

I do hope you’ve enjoyed this blog and please feel free to comment below and follow me on social Instagram and Twitter.

Big hugs as always,

Craig xx

  1. Hi Craig,
I live about a 5 minute walk from Blaise estate. We’re always being asked for directions as to where the castle is when we’re out and about. It really is a mystery castle!! or is it because the council signage is a bit rubbish? Lol! x
