Saying goodbye to summer, tasty fish and getting cosy!

Hello and welcome to my first blog of October!

This weekend I took my sister and niece away to Spain, and it was a joyous way of  saying goodbye to another summer. We had three days in Puerto Banus,  Marbella, and even though the temperatures were dropping we were blessed with blue skies and sunshine for much of the time there.

It was a nice break for my sister – a busy working mum – and a little ‘well done’ to my niece Jasmine for doing well in her exams and having secured a place at Bath College where she is now studying fashion and business.

Quality time together in the sun, lots of laughing and some lovely food and drink. You can see from the photos what a lovely trip we had.  I also have lots of little videos that I will be putting on my Instagram stories over the next few days, so be sure to follow me on Instagram.

So, after the final summer trip its now time to embrace winter and start thinking about Christmas in a relaxed way. As I’ve mentioned in previous blogs, the time between my birthday in late September and Christmas seems to whiz by.

I’ve made a start by buying a few boxes of these beautiful Monty Bojangles Chocolate Truffles.  They are really special and make wonderful presents for neighbours and people who help me throughout the year without costing a fortune.

Talking of Christmas, we have our festive food event this Thursday at QVC, and as well as our full festive food hours at 11am and midday.

I will also be bringing you an hour of H Forman and Son with their premium food range. One of my favourites that I tried during previous shows is this Salmon Coulibiac, a deliciously seasoned combination of salmon, rice and egg, wrapped in a homemade crepe pastry –   you can see myself and Lanze Forman telling you more in this video.

Then on Friday, as well as hosting shows on QVC style at 3pm and 5pm I have an hour of Cozee Home on QVC Live at 7pm featuring the Todays Special Value offer –  a filled Cozee plush bedspread to keep us snug all winter long – bliss!

So that’s all for this week, as we say goodbye to summer and embrace all the joys of a new winter season: crisp walks in the park, big steaming mugs of hot chocolate, delicious filling food and generally getting cosy!

Thanks for reading my blog and see you again soon.

Big hugs as always,

Craig XX
