Two desert island products and a Blink home security offer

Hello, and thank you for visiting my QVC blog.

I hope you’re having a good February (I can’t believe we already more than halfway through!) Three things I’d like to share with you this week.

Firstly, we have a great offer on the Blink home security system today, and it’s a really easy way of keeping an eye on your home for security and convenience. In the kit you’ll get everything you need to get the system up and running easily, with two cameras and the ‘hub’ that connects it all.

The second thing I wanted to share with you is a fun new series called ‘QVC Desert Island Product of the Month’. Strictly speaking you’re only allowed a couple of things to be desert island products, but hey, it’s my series so I can bend the rules ; )

As I missed January I’m giving myself two this month, and it will be really interesting to hear if any of my chosen products I couldn’t be without are yours too! So, here are the first two.

January QVC Desert Island product – my Bose Colour SoundLink Speaker

This is the first product I am choosing because I use it every single day. I listen to my music and radio through my phone and then Bluetooth the sound across. I also sometimes have it connected to my iPad if I’m watching BBC iplayer or Netflix in bed.

It’s easy to use, the sound is great and I can take it to any room in the house (including the bathroom for bath or shower time!) I’ve also used it on holidays to listen to music in the apartment or in the hotel, and it’s been on many a summer picnics too! My Bose speaker is my trusted musical friend!

February QVC Desert island product – Australian Body Care Skin Wash

What can I say, I use this body wash several times a week both in the shower and in the bath. I am being a bit naughty and having both the original formulation and the lavender on included as one product because I can’t pick between them! I love how it makes me feel so clean with my skin in healthy condition.

I love using it after a workout or yoga session, but equally it’s a great way to freshen up before a working day, or at the end of the day to wash away the grime and pollution of the city. I really like the herbaceous fragrance of the Teatree and the clean, restful fragrance of the lavender.

So that’s my first two desert island products. From here on in I will choose one a month until the end of the year.

And finally, I thought I would post a lovely photo of Caroline from Liz Earle and I, a picture we took in the studio last week at QVC. It’s always a joy to work with Caroline, and as with so many of my colleagues we have become friends, which just shows what a wonderful place QVC is to work.
