Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

I hope all’s well…  I know I can’t believe it’s Christmas already either but here we are racing into 2020!

This is a short, festive blog to sign off 2019…

As it’s my birthday on Christmas day I always request that I take a short break over Christmas, which for the last 22 years has meant that I’m always on-air for the New Year. This suits me well and I look forward to meeting up with you all on the 30th of December for some sale bargains.

I don’t know if you are the same, but I find that around this time of year I spend time reflecting on the past, present and future, taking stock of the “status quo”, reflecting on past years and trying to second guess what may lie ahead.

I genuinely hope that you’ve all had a wonderful 2019, but sadly I know that this will not be the case for us all, but that said, some of you may well have had the best year ever and should celebrate that with gusto! (I never use that word in speech but it seems right to do so here).

I thought I’d sign off this year with some festive photos of Toby and Ellie and a guest appearance from Buzz, a Cockapoo pup belonging to Daria a friend of my daughter Ali – just too cute to leave out!

Plus, here is a recent QVC blooper (which gained over 22,000 views on Twitter!!), to hopefully bring some festive cheer.

So however your year has played out – I sincerely hope that 2020 may bring happiness, joy and contentment to all.

I have a “special” birthday on the 25th and will raise a glass to you all and wish you a “Merry Christmas”, “Happy Holidays” and a “Wonderful New Year”!

Wish I had time to reflect D on past, future etc., but this time of year I’m rushing around like a blue a—e fly 😉 no time for reminiscing. The chance would be a fine thing, but I will make sure that I raise a glass to all at the Q as I am such a big, big fan (any excuse to raise a glass, that’s me). Again, have a lovely Christmas and birthday and look forward to seeing you in 2020 (on screen, on screen, phew) xx
