Fun behind the scenes at QVC

I’ve had some lovely messages from everybody this week, considering I have spent most nights going live on my Facebook page, singing you some cheery songs and having fun dancing around, getting everyone to join in. I take requests!

Even Lee Hohbein came and joined me one night (as you can see in the screenshot!), as did Jilly Halliday, my lovely friend, in our presenter lounge 🙂 go here to my Facebook page and look back and you will see some belters. Literally ha ha.

Plus James Murden does a quiz every day on his Facebook page at 4pm, which is very popular. On one of the days, they bet him that he would not wear that jacket on air, and he did! The top picture is him behind the scenes moaning that it is too big. I would say it is too loud! He is great fun though and everyone is pulling together behind the scenes on QVC.

Fitbit studio fun

The Fitbit Today’s Special Value was on Wednesday, and I had five of the airings! We were all going a bit stir crazy by the end of the day! This was part of an exercise routine on the app. Well worth getting one, even if it’s just because it buzzes on your wrist to make you get up and move at least once an hour! Hope you are having lots of fun at home following along with some of the popular exercise posts on social media. I mentioned some last week, well of course there are lots more now. I know Miceal is having fun doing some exercise routines at home in his regular posts too, so do join him if you can (by the way, our Fitbit range is here on qvcuk.com)

Crazy Tommy Cross

This man is seriously brave, or crazy, one of the two! We had our weekend gardening show at 9pm, and it was the first day where it got really cold again. Tommy – wanting to be in his shirt sleeves – did not wear a coat! He had to put one on by midnight, however! We did three items outside and I was really, really cold by the time I went indoors. Had to have a bath to warm up once I got home! I think he’s a really good garden guest and always brings us some really cool bargains.

Please remember our garden shop is open for delivery – we have a super gardening range and there is another Today’s Special Value garden show on Monday night (6th), Join me for the launch! (See below for the deals coming up, but check out all of our garden products here online and get them dispatched to you at home, all with a 60 day money back guarantee 🙂 )

I’m looking forward to this year’s presenter lily growing challenge from Richard Jackson as well. More details about that soon…

Daisy dog the refugee

My lovely niece Evie, aged six-years-old, has a new best friend. Daisy dog has gone to live with her, my brother Derek and wife Amanda down in Kent for the time being. She covered her up while they were playing hospitals, and Daisy loved every minute. She even wrote a letter, and did her homework all about her new pet.

Evie takes her for walks, as Daisy is quite slow, so does not pull her over. Plus Daisy has been rolling around in the sunshine as usual making herself at home. Evie loves her to bits and I’m very lucky my family are helping out while I’m in London for a bit.

Facebook funnies

He he, couldn’t resist this one. Don’t forget, I am doing nightly funnies and positive news on my own Facebook page, do look it up regularly, I copy things onto my QVC page afterwards, and I’m doing as many blogs and fun things as possible. #qvcalwayswithyou

Watch

Disney+

First time I’ve done this, but I’m going to recommend a whole channel. All, absolutely all, of the famous and less famous Disney shows from years gone by, for a very low subscription every month. And guess what! The new Samsung TV that James Murden has been selling comes with the Disney channel already downloaded! Go here to see it.

Plus of all the funny videos this week, do look out for the self-isolating version of ‘One Day More’ (from Les Miserable) but done by the Marsh family in Kent. Very funny 🙂 just google it and you will be pleased you did.

Book of the week

C L Taylor’s new one is out this week. Cally is a regular guest down at my place in Devon and always get so much written when she is with us. Her latest book is called The Fear, and I’m looking forward to listening to the audiobook (just as soon as I have finished the current Rivers of London one.)

“Sometimes your first love won’t let you go…. When Lou Wandsworth ran away to France with her teacher Mike Hughes, she thought he was the love of her life. But Mike wasn’t what he seemed, and he left her life in pieces. Years later she sees history repeating itself with another girl, but when she tries to help, it looks like it may repeat itself with her.” Looks great, well done Cally!
