QVC Style is live!

If fashion is your thing and you love to try out new looks, then my blog this week is just for you, as it’s all about QVC Style. This is our TV channel that is dedicated to fashion, styling, accessories and putting together outfits for all shapes, sizes and ages.

First of all, you need a couple of important details. What channel is this on? Sky 677, Virgin 742, via red button on Freeview 16 and 35. When is it on? We are live from 3pm – 7pm, Monday to Friday.

The channel is close to my heart, not only because I have a huge interest in fashion, but because its where I started out with QVC back in late 2015. It was exciting to be part of something new and be able to work with guests who have established careers in the fashion industry. Back then, we only broadcast one or two live hours a day, for a few days a week, but now the success and popularity of this channel means we are live four hours a day, five days a week!

I was looking through my old photos, and I found some fun ones from when I started right up to now. Any that you see where we are standing close together were taken before August 2019, as that was when I went on maternity leave, and since returning we all observe social  distancing.

I am sure you’ll recognise everyone. I absolutely love working with these wonderful and talented people who have become my friends too.

Why would you watch it? We concentrate purely on fashion and accessories, plus we bring you a new Style Big Deal each week. You can find this week’s one right here. You order in exactly the same way as you do the “mother channel”, so through the website www.qvcuk.com and on the QVC App, which you can download onto your smart phones and tablets for free. Plus, the same 60-day Money Back guarantee applies!

What makes this channel so fresh and interesting is that we work with our in-house stylists and models to create looks that are wearable for all tastes – whether you love to dress head to toe in sequins and faux fur, or you’re a jeans, boots and a simple T-shirt wearer.

The team work to bring you looks that are current and echo those found on the catwalks and in glossy magazines. The other great thing about QVC Style is that we are all very real people with normal body shapes and have the same issues that most of us have in life, with going up and down dress sizes, having indulged too much at the weekend or simply having a “not feeling it” kind of a day. We chat about all these kinds of things on the channel as well.

What kind of brands can you expect to find on QVC Style? Some of your favourites such as  WULI:LUU by Gok Wan, Ruth Langsford, MarlaWynne, Kim & Co, Phase EightModa in Pelle, Dune, Joules, Nina Leonard and so many more. We try and show you as many different ways as possible to wear each outfit, either all from the same brand or we show how you can mix and match. We understand achieving that “oh, what, this old thing?” look is not always that easy, myself included! I can spend an age trying to find an outfit that feels right for the occasion.

We love working with our resident stylist, Stine, who brings her experience and sense of fun to our fashion line ups. Her eye for styling all types of body shapes and styles is fantastic. You might not see her on screen, but I can assure you she is working hard in the background to pull it all together, alongside our other stylist such as Channel, who is at the top of my blog sorting her rail for a Ruth Langsford show.

You can also get involved with the show by Tweeting in any questions related to the show or by using Instagram. My contact is nice and easy, as it’s the same for both – @eilidhnairnTV. Please do message us, as the presenters love to hear from you and hear your thoughts.

Before I go, I want to give you a heads up on these stunning knee high boots from Moda in Pelle, a Today’s Special Value coming up on 23rd October (look out for item number 186680.)

There are so many reasons to go for these boots. The super sleek and chic design with either a leather, suede or snake skin front to choose. Autumn/winter colour choices of Black, Burgundy, Dark Grey and Brown Snake, with beautiful tailoring to fit the wider calf too.

The comfort is immediate, which mean there’s no need to wear them in. In terms of design, I especially like the nod to the equestrian vibe with the chain that loops around the back of the heel. The slim fit of the toe also makes the boot feel more feminine. I’ve been wearing them non-stop since receiving mine and think they are an absolute winner!

That’s all for now and take care of your selves. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Love,

Eilidh
