All change!

Well, in true British fashion I went to bed one night earlier this week after a lovely sunny day in the garden, and woke up to head off to work the next morning in pouring rain and chilly temperatures! Autumn, it seems, has suddenly arrived with us overnight. Actually, being honest I don’t mind this time of year at all – in fact, I quite like it. Although I do love the outdoor lifestyle that summer brings, I definitely prefer autumn/winter fashion and I love the cosiness of this time of year. And, after all, there’s not much we can do about it, is there? So we might as well embrace the new season and just get on with it.

Hence, I’ve just popped onto the blogs briefly this week to tell you about some of my QVC picks which might help to ease you into autumn and even get you thinking ahead to the festive season, if you’re someone who likes to start shopping for gifts early.

First, we are all very excited about the fact that Julien Macdonald, who already does a homeware range at QVC, is about to launch a fashion collection too! JM Fashion is as colourful and fabulous as the man himself, and it will be launching with a Today’s Special Value offer at 9 pm on Monday the 4th of October. This jersey shirt with pockets has military button detail and comes in six colour and print options. I am wearing the Grey Animal in this photo, but I also have my eye on the Red Snake option; there’s also an Orange Animal, a Pink Baroque print and two block colours, Black and Cobalt. The range also has some incredible jackets which I don’t think I’m going to be able to resist, as well as lots of other gorgeous pieces.

As for getting ahead with Christmas gift buying, there are a couple of things which really might make very special gifts indeed. If you or somebody in your life loves the Dyson haircare range, look out for the new Giftable collection. The Airwrap styler,  Supersonic hairdryer and Corrale straightener are all included, in a stunning new colour-way: Prussian blue and rich copper. I think this is my favourite colour option to date. They all come with the Dyson presentation case too – an incredible gift for someone special or a wonderful treat for yourself.
