Hello,
How weird to suddenly have a few things in the big empty diary again! I’m still waiting for my (very, very much needed) hair appointment on the 28th, but hubby and I went out for lunch at (well, outside) a restaurant on Friday which was SO exciting, and I have a couple of other drinks/lunches planned now too before the end of April, with friends. These little things we once took for granted now seem so wonderful, don’t they? I’m also hoping to run a proper race (50km/31 miles) in early May, which I’m equally nervous and excited about, but more on that nearer the time. I hope that you’ve managed a a few little outings too maybe, and that you are joining me in feeling a bit more positive about the state of the world, for now at least.
It’s just a quickie today – I just wanted to tell you about two things happening this week at QVC. First of all, some news about Ruth Langsford’s regular Thursday night shows. From this week there will be even more ways to watch, shop and chat with Ruth. For a start, Will Gowing will be joining in with the shows from home, to help with some of your social media messages. Then, after each TV show, we will have five or ten minutes of EXTRA, exclusive content on the QVC Facebook page. In other words the show will continue for a little bit longer but online only, and that’s where you’ll get a sneaky look ahead to the following week and pieces we will be featuring. We will also show some of your photos in clothes you’ve bought from the shows. So do get involved (I know lots of you do already, we love our regular tweeters!).
