Getting my sparkle on…

It’s mostly photos in my blog this week… a quick fire round-up of little bits and pieces from life outside and inside work! Here we go…

At home the Christmas tree is up (a Santa’s Best one I bought at QVC when it was a Today’s Special Value offer a few months ago; I thought our new house deserved a new tree for our first festive season in it!) and I’m loving it. I’ve actually put FOUR trees up around the place, but only one big one! And despite not really being a pink girl when it comes to fashion, I have a pink colour scheme going on this year and I rather like it…

My top Christmas fashion pick this year is definitely my Ruth Langsford blazer with the beaded lapels. I’ve worn it on air a couple of times already and will be wearing it to events outside of work too… it’s FABULOUS!

And to balance the over-indulgence to come, I’m still running my way through December, despite finishing my 1,000 mile charity challenge back in November. At the weekend I ran 10km at an event called “The Race Before Christmas” which was fun (also a good excuse to wear my 1,000 miles t-shirt!).

Even though it’s a time tinged with sadness when I think of loved ones who can’t be here to share it, I do adore Christmas,  but if it’s a sad or lonely time for you (I’m so sorry), or just something you don’t celebrate, hang tight… only a couple of weeks to go before it’s behind us again.
