Hello,
As I write this Christmas is just a few days away… what a different world we are living in compared with this time last year! I’m not going to dwell on any of that here, or talk about the latest restrictions; suffice it to say I hope that you can find some sparks of joy in the coming days, and that 2021 brings us some light at the end of what has been a very long, dark tunnel.
I’ve found comfort in some early morning runs over the past couple of weeks, often starting in the dark so I can watch the sun rise. Here’s a photo I took by the lake in my local park the other day – it’s weirdly reassuring to know that whatever happens in the world, nature continues on its merry way.
At QVC of course we will be with you throughout the festive period, with our shows live on air until 2pm on Christmas Eve when we switch to pre-recorded shows until 9am Boxing Day. I’ll be with you on both of those days and daily until the 29th when I get a few days off over New Year; Christmas for me will therefore be a one-day event, to be spent quietly at home with my husband. My final show on the 29th will be a two-hour sale show with Ruth Langsford from 7pm, so do join us for some fun that night!
The weekend of the 26th and 27th is a big sale weekend at QVC and there’ll be two great Today’s Special Value offers. On the Saturday it’s a fabulous pair of Marc Fisher boots. I’m wearing the black suede here and they also come in dark blue and burgundy suede and black and coffee bean leather options, plus a choice of regular or wide calf width. I LOVE the stud detail! They are really comfortable too.
Then on Sunday it’s all about SBC with a four-piece Arnica Supersize Targeted Collection. Hi Jackie I just want to wish you a very wonderful happy Xmas,as you say it’s not like anything before so I have told my family to “enjoy “ and make the most of it because hopefully we will never see the like of it again! I also want to thank you and Ruth for your Thursday night shows, even if I don’t buy anything they are wonderful. In a complimentary way I think you are as good as the late great Morecombe and Wise!!
