Party party!

Hello,

One of the perks of working at QVC is getting to see (and sometimes try on!) new fashion before it goes on air. So when our lovely fashion buyers asked me if I’d like to be let loose in the new partywear cupboard, how could I refuse? There’s now a brand new partywear section on the QVC website, and here are a few of my top picks for the coming season.

Already available is this slinky little number from Coco Bianco, the diamanté ladder sleeve top. I like the fact that it’s really quite a plain black top from the front but then you see those fabulous sleeves – wow!

If you’re more a jeans and jumper kind of gal, this Together metallic lurex sweater (this is the Fuchsia option) is perfect, with just the right amount of sparkle to make you feel a bit special without being too over the top.

And if, like me, you love a jumpsuit, this one is coming soon! It’s the perfect party jumpsuit from Mr Max, with great tuxedo-style stripes down the legs. Super comfortable and a little bit glittery!

More fashion news for you – you can get all Skechers on three interest-free payments for the entire month of October (see full details here) by using the code SKECH3 when you check out. I’ve got my eye on the Chugga ankle boots to wear as slippers this winter, so cosy! (Also, stepping away from fashion for a moment, did you know that pretty much everything in the beauty department is now on just £1.95 p&p from now until Christmas?)

And finally, more exciting news – I’m a big podcast fan (I listen to lots of true crime podcast on my long commute) and now QVC has launched its own! Hosted by the lovely Will Gowing, it will feature interviews with lots of well known QVC faces (the first two feature Ruth Langsford and Alison Cork), and you may even hear some presenters on there too (I did my chat with Will the other day, eeek!). You can download it from all the usual podcast platforms, or simply listen online here.

I think that’s all for now – see you soon.

Love Jackie x

    1. I know, we are very lucky! We just have to try not to get too Christmassy too early, otherwise you feel like it’s been Christmas for months! All good fun though.

  2. I’m sure it’s not all fun.As with any job it will have its ups and downs You make a lovely model so if you want a change perhaps you could be a QVC model Love the Coco Blanco top it would be great for Xmas. Love this time of year xxx

    1. Oh yes, definitely has its ups and downs but thankfully many more ups! That’s so kind of you…I think I’m a bit too clumsy to be a proper model though, I’m ok standing still but ask me to walk down a catwalk and I’d probably fall off!
