The busiest time of the year!

Do you ever feel as if you barely have time to draw a breath? It feels a little bit like that at the moment. Work is even more hectic than usual, with Black Friday approaching followed by Christmas, which of course in our job is the busiest time of the year. Added to that, the deadline for my new book is the 1st of December, so I’ve been frantically trying to get that finished on time too. I’m having to take a break from running at the moment, to rest my left Achilles tendon which is still suffering a little bit after my “ten half marathons in ten days” madness, and I am missing it desperately, but it may well be a good thing because I’m not sure how I could fit in much running at the moment anyway!

Therefore, I haven’t really been doing anything recently other than work and write, so I don’t have much personal news to share with you. Hence, I thought that in this blog I would just point you in the direction of a few great QVC offers which have caught my eye.

First, Estee Lauder! There’s a Today’s Special Value offer from the brand coming up this Thursday the 25th, although you can order it right now on the website if you want to. The collection is worth over £180, but you’re getting it for under £77, and it includes four of the most popular products from this extensive range. You’ll be getting the Perfectly Clean Foam Cleanser, Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex, Advanced Night Repair Synchronised Multi Recovery Complex (their iconic night serum), and a very nice lipstick in a colour rather wonderfully named “Rebellious Rose”. This collection is currently only available at QVC, and would make a wonderful Christmas gift, or maybe just a nice seasonal beauty treat for yourself.

Then of course this coming weekend is, of course, Black Friday weekend. There are already lots of Black Friday offers on the QVC website – I’ve already stocked up on my favourite Ultrasun 50 face, which I wear almost every day if I’m going outside, rain or shine, summer or winter. A couple of other things which have caught my eye are the Elemis Wildflower Cleansing Oil trio, on offer at just under half price, and the cute Frank Usher embellished jumper (pictured above) – I rather like the black skull option! There’ll also be lots of great offers on air all weekend so do tune in if you can – it’s a great weekend to do some Christmas shopping.

And I absolutely love the Centigrade Today’s Special Value offer which you’ll see on air on Saturday. Centigrade coats are just SO good, and SUCH good value, and this one is no exception. It’s a faux fur/down coat with a detachable hood, and comes in a fabulous choice of colours: Navy, Champagne, Black, Charcoal, Burgundy and – my favourite this time round – Khaki, which I’m wearing here.
