I just thought I’d pop in with one of my new ‘news blogs’, which is my equivalent of a news flash, as if you haven’t snapped up your advent calendar for this year yet, then time is definitely of the essence!
You may remember that I mentioned some of the beauty advent calendars a couple of blogs ago, but we also have foodie ones all ready to go too.
A chocolate advent is the obviously the most popular choice, but they are definitely not just for kids. This is my favourite choice.
Firstly, we are talking Lindt, so stunningly delicious chocolate, plus you get two calendars for the price, which is amazing. They are so cute in the shape of bears too, so appealing and a fun way to portion control a little chocolate treat for the day too.
This Jenny Wren calendar and this Hotel Chocolat one make up two other gorgeous sweet tooth offerings, both are rich chocolate duos with the whimsical element coming through with the Jenny Wren chocolate cubes, or the more sophisticated Hotel Chocolat milk and dark chocolate combinations.
If you are looking for something savoury however, The Snaffling Pig Advent Calendar is a gourmet treat. These pork scratchings are truly a taste sensation and in total the calendar contains 30 bags of mouth-watering tasty snacks in 6 incredible flavours that would make a great dinner party offering or unique gift maybe.
But I have saved what I believe to be this year’s best advent calendar until last and I think this would be a superb gift to even start with in January too. It’s the Best of British Beer Calendar!
