I hope you’re well and getting excited about Christmas. Too early? Not in my opinion. I love Christmas and really enjoy the run up as it gets colder and things get more festive. I don’t decorate until December, mind you. I normally get the tree as close to December 1st as possible and because we always have a real one it is normally really on its last legs by Epiphany!
Have you started your Christmas shopping? I haven’t but I think I might this weekend and maybe take advantage of a few interest-free instalment offers too! I’ve definitely got some Diamonique pieces to order, although there was one I was going to for my Mum that she’s ordered for herself already! It was from a show I did with Hannah Clemmow – you can see the photo of us two at the top. The piece is this big Oval-cut friendship bracelet; not only is it really pretty but the price is fantastic too.
I’ve been pretty busy lately so the house work has stalled a bit but we’ve managed to get the first couple of base coats on the freshly-plastered dining room walls and we’ve bought the coloured paint to go in there. I’ve gone quite daring with the shade, so I’m excited to see how that looks. Here’s a little look at the progress so far.
The new dining table should be arriving today too so that’s exciting. We’re hosting our families for Christmas this year so we had to get the table sorted ASAP. We’ll probably make do with the chairs we have for now and there won’t be a proper floor but I’m sure it’ll be fine!! Fingers crossed!
Now, something super exciting is happening at QVC this week and it is all about Dyson. We finally have the Supersonic Hairdryer coming as a Today’s Special Value with SIX interest-free instalments and what’s even better is that you can pre-order it now!
But that’s not all; if you buy the dryer, you’ll be entered into a prize draw with a chance of winning £2000 worth of Dyson products! How exciting!! I use mine every day and there are certain members of my family who eye it up whenever I come to stay. If you have family members who would love one too and you want to get them an extra-special gift, then the Easy Pay interest-free instalments being under £50 might help you out here. The colour is a classy black with red accents and box – perfect for Christmas but also stylish all year round.
If you head to the QVC website, there are also a couple of other exciting things going on. Firstly, we have Black Friday deals live on the site and there are some amazing offers to be had there. Plus, we are running a special code at the moment that allows you to get an extra 15% off clearance items. You need to shop online or on the phone but if you quote SALE15 at the checkout, that’ll give you the extra money off. You’re welcome!
As always, I’ll also remind you to check out the Big Deals for this week. There’s quite a deal from Revitalash, a Cozee Home rug that feels soft enough to sleep on and some Skechers slippers that’d make a good Christmas gift. I do want to focus a little on the Style Big Deal from Michelle Hope for a moment.
It’s a faux suede biker jacket and the quality is fantastic for the price. The suede is super soft and all the finishings look and feel really high quality. It also comes in some fab colours that you wouldn’t normally see this style of jacket in – electric blue, for example. I think the Oyster colour is a lovely neutral shade too. I did a show with Michele on QVC Style on Monday and I will add that if you’re looking for party season sparkle, then definitely check out her full range on the website too!
That’s all from me this week. We’re hoping to get some painting done this weekend so perhaps next blog I’ll be able to show you some more Dining Room progress.
Have a great couple of weeks until then,
