All the highlights from our big June Fashion event

Hi there, thanks for taking time to read my blog. This week it’s a focus on fashion because we have an exciting event coming up on the 9th and 10th of June. Two fashion-packed days of your favourite brands!

I will actually be kicking off the event on the 9th at 9am with Katie Pemberton with a Love your Style show, so you will get a chance to see a mix of the great brands we have on offer and see them styled with a mix of all the incredible accessories that we have available at QVC. This is a nice way to get a feel for a lot of the different brands and styles that will be coming up over the two days.

I also want to pick out a few other shows that I think you’ll want to make sure you’re in for, so here we go.

Masai Copenhagen – 1pm 9th June

We are thrilled that Masai Copenhagen has become one of the latest brands to come to QVC. Founded by two siblings in Copenhagen back in 1992 it was driven by a desire to design clothes for women who love a feminine but unique look while making sure that it’s high quality.

If you love colours and abstract patterns and prints, then you need to add this to your reminders. A really nice factor on their design is that they use a high amount of FSC Certified Viscose in a lot of their designs which means using recycled FSC certified wood pulp and recycled cotton to create their fabric, a really exciting move for the fashion industry.

Moda in Pelle

You will be seeing plenty of Moda in Pelle on the first day of the event as it will be the star of the day with their Today’s Special Value throughout Wednesday. This will be the Fizzali Trainer! Make sure to tune in for the launch at 9pm on the 8th to see it first and make sure to get your favourite colour option and size as I have a feeling it will be popular!

Phase Eight – 4pm 9th June

A firm favourite already at QVC, you know exactly what you are going to get from Phase Eight, quality and timeless style. Pieces that you will have in your wardrobe season after season. I firmly believe in buying well so that I don’t overload my wardrobe but I make sure they are key items that will work with a lot of what I already have.

Phase Eight definitely ticks that box and I can mix it with more unusual items to give more of a signature look if I want. It’s one of those brands that a 20 year old will wear one way but their 50 year old mother can style in an entirely different way. Their dresses can be worn with trainers and denim jackets for example or tailored blazers and stilettos. Versatile!

Monsoon – 10pm 9th June

I’ve always had a soft spot for Monsoon because it appeals to my boho side. We all have different sides to us, don’t we? Sometimes I want sharp edges and killer heels and sometimes I want to feel floaty and barefoot. Monsoon for me definitely falls into the latter.

The red Ebony Printed Sun dress I am wearing in these pictures is a perfect example of this. Soft lines, boho print, summer vibes. I have it styled with the Kim & Co bomber. I would wear this to the park for picnics with the kids particularly once I’ve got a bit of summer colour on my arms. I would keep it simple with slip-on sandals and perhaps a white cardigan for the cooler evenings.

MarlaWynne

On the 10th June the star of the day will be MarlaWynne as the Today’s Special Value will be the 5 Pocket Flatter Fit Melange Capri pant. Perfect for the summer months! The Marla train just isn’t slowing down at QVC, it’s getting more and more popular than ever. I’m not surprised because firstly you can’t get it anywhere else in the UK and you get cuts, shapes and silhouettes that are so distinctly Marla.

She designs for women of all shapes when she’s at the drawing board and not just for catwalk models. I am wearing her bestselling vest tops in these pictures along with Ruth Langsford’s faux leather jacket. They are capsule wardrobe essentials and I would have them all if I could. They are perfect layering pieces and pull together the majority of things in your wardrobe. They are beautiful quality viscose and if you look after them you will have them for years.

Brand launch – Bonova – 10am 10th June

We are really excited to be bringing you the perfect shoe brand to get us through the summer months. Bonova is coming to QVC! They bring us traditional craftsmanship, renewable raw materials, environmentally friendly manufacturing processes all while giving us comfort with anatomically shaped foot beds. Dreamy!

This is my kind of summer sandal. I like to be barefoot for a lot of the summer so a sandal that mimics the natural shape of my feet is a winner for when I need to be in shoes. I will be bringing you a whole hour at 10am and I can’t wait!
