A big hello!
I hope you’ve had a lovely week. It’s been a fun, busy one at QVC HQ!
I had the pleasure of trying out the Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Cleaner, our Today’s Special Value offer on September 4th, and gave my flat and car the deepest clean they’ve ever had as this machine is powerful!
The innovative cleaner, features a V11 motor and an LCD screen display, allowing you to monitor the performance and run time as you can clean for up to 60 minutes non-stop. It also comes with four cleaning tools meaning you can clean pretty much anywhere from the stairs and upholstery to the car. It also hangs on the wall, making storage easy and it looks so sleek and chic.
Honestly, I have a terrible little hand vacuum and this Dyson cleaner is on another level! You can probably tell the hair on my head isn’t all natural and sometimes the extensions shed, the cleaner scooped up the hair in a matter of seconds. The suction power is incredible and would be great for animal hair – not that I’m comparing myself to a dog or cat!
I had a little help from my little cousins to make more of a mess to test the cleaner a bit further, and I needed to get them off the devices they are glued to when I was looking after them over the weekend. I filmed a little video with them to show you the cleaner in action. They thoroughly enjoyed stamping on crumbs and throwing rice and cereal on the carpet!
It’s easy to empty as it has a point and shoot mechanism, so no bags are required, which also meant I didn’t end up having a sneezing fit from any dust. My naughty cousin got a bit carried away and somehow some of the crumbs were damp, so I just gave the cleaner a little second shake and the rest of the crumbs then came out.
It’s a great digital, easy-to-use cleaner and I have learnt that buying well can absolutely mean buying once, as adding up the cost of my cheaper cleaners works out more expensive than this one!
Also, this week I was in my absolute element. I presented my first make-up hour with Benefit Cosmetics – this is the stuff my dreams are made of! I was like a kid in a candy shop.
I wore the new Powmade with Brow Brush, in Shade 5 on my eyebrows, which I loved.
And as if that wasn’t enough Ruth Langsford posted a story of me from that show, thanking me for wearing her Faux Leather Biker Jacket!
She has an amazing range with QVC, I love her pointed Faux Leather Pencil Skirt with Ponte Side Panels in Black. I just ordered the burgundy too – I just keep buying things!
She’s such a lovely lady I met her on my first day at QVC, I was lost – surprise, surprise – she came up to me and said, Hi, welcome, and helped me find my way. I was a little star struck inside but kept it cool and didn’t show it! I couldn’t believe Loose Woman and This Morning’s Ruth was casually talking to me and making sure I was okay and found my way.
She’s such a down to earth, kind lady and started following me on Instagram there and then!

Welcome to QVC, Ophelia. I’ve enjoyed your shows so far – I have quite a few Ruth Langsford pieces and love them, especially the three quarter sleeve tops.
