Ahhh, the scents of summer!

I’m beside myself with excitement as the weather forecast finally looks like there’s a change in the wind. It got so wintery that my daughter subjected me to Nat King Cole last week. I can’t remember the last time we had the heating on this late in May and I’m still wearing the same foundation I wear in January – what’s that about? We went to play mini golf last weekend and it got so cold, I had to borrow Brian’s jacket…

…BUT! The weather is on the turn, so we are all super excited to lose our jackets and feel warm. Regardless, our shows for summer have continued, of course, and I was delighted to host the “Al Fresco Dining Show” last week as though the sun was out, and despite the fact we were in the studio, I even wore a dress! Our backstage teams have created some wonderful garden-type sets while the weather has been so grim and with delicious treats such as Gower Cottage brownies, delicious organic cheeses from Godminster and the Althams Butchers BBQ hamper, you could almost forget that we were inside. It was topped off perfectly with the beautiful Melamine set that looks like it came from the south of France and serving platters to match –  it’s all in the theatre! Well, perhaps not all. 🙂

By the way, the dress is available at a Big Deal Price at the moment…

Following on from my blog last time about permission to stop, I talked about my love Neom candles and hey presto, we have a wonderful Today’s Special Value from them this week. At the end of a busy day or week, when we want to wind down and de-stress, I find that Neom has the perfect blends to help.  It’s already available online, but if you want to hear more about the fragrances and the stories behind the range, do join me for the launch shows at 9pm and midnight on Wednesday 26th May. If you can’t wait until then, there are two options, Bliss Relaxation or Real Luxury – both come with a stunning three-wick candle, the divine bath foam, hand balm and body lotion – it’s a real indulgence!

Until then, I hope your garden is growing gloriously and that you are enjoying seeing your loved ones.

Much love as always,

Pipa xx

  1. Another great blog from you. Was pleased to hear you got a hole-in-one twice when playing a game of crazy golf.
