Things to look forward to…

Don’t you think that having something to look forward to has the incredible power to pull us through, wherever we’re at? I usually take January to recover from the Christmas and New Year shenanigans and plan for the year ahead, but I have to say this year, I’m not so partied out and I’m guessing you’re probably the same. Just ready to say goodbye to 2020 and lean into 2021, ready to embrace whatever lies ahead.

Things on the family calendar that we are hopeful for? Well, Myles started driving a couple of months ago, so hopefully we will have one test passed with another not far behind, as Beely will be turning 17 later in the year, which means four drivers in the family! We’ve also got her GCSE’s ahead, which oddly we are excited about, because it means she can move on from school – a place she’s never really loved.

Where we do all love is the Isle of Wight, so we are hopeful for two weeks there rather than the one that we usually take (although, I’m not sure we will camp for that long!). Plus, Brian turns 50, so that means in one shape or another, there is some party planning to be done!

Things on the QVC calendar? Well, I can tell you that there’s lots in store, but obviously my lips have to remain sealed for the time being. I’d just say to make sure you’re plugged into social media, so you can catch any news of new launches and special shows as and when they happen!

All I can tell you today is that we have a fab Philip Kingsley Today’s Special Value coming your way! Who doesn’t love a great hair day? I’m really particular with what I use on my hair and this is one of the few shampoo and conditioners that I rotate into my routine. This particular fragrance is divine and it really makes a difference to the quality of my blow dry and how long I can go between washes. I like to give at least three days between each wash, as I don’t like to damage or overly heat treat my hair when I style it.

As for intentions (rather than resolutions) this year, I’ve still got a few hours to decide while we finish the Christmas leftovers! I may just share them next time. 🙂

For now, I would just like to say thank you so much for all your continued support through 2020. We’ve made all kinds of changes on air in order to keep the programming flowing, as well as lots on social media and your interaction has been the icing on the cake, as it always is! I think we all deserve pats on the back for getting through, and while we aren’t yet out of the water, I think the end is in sight.

Wishing you and your loved ones all the very best for 2021!

Much love,

Pipa xx
