The other thing that Sealy do and I have experienced this myself, is they make the delivery (and collection of your old bed, if you want it), simples!  Now the exact terms of what will happen may vary but typically this is what you can expect:

 

  • Seamless delivery and assembly – offering a two-man delivery service, Sealy ensure you experience luxury from the moment your bed is delivered. All you need to do is dismantle your old bed and the delivery team will carry your new one to the room of your choice, assemble it for you, then take away your old dismantled bed, along with all of the packaging. You’ll be ready for a nap in no time!
  • You will receive a link via email or text to book a slot for your delivery. If this is not booked within 48 hours, then on the third day you will receive a call from the carrier to arrange a convenient delivery date. If the date offered is not convenient, you can select an alternative date that’s better for you.
  • On the day prior to the agreed delivery date, between the hours of 7 – 9pm, you will be contacted with a two-hour delivery window. This is usually done via text message.
  • On the day of the delivery itself, you will receive a tracking reference number and a one-hour pre-call prior to delivery.
  • On arrival, the delivery crew will establish that they are at the right address and will inspect access to the property and the room of your choice to ensure that the product can be delivered safely without the risk of property damage.
  • If ‘Take Back’ is required, the crew will remove the old product from your bedroom and take it away from the property, where it will be recycled as far as possible. You can notify Sealy that a ‘Take Back’ service is required right up to the point of delivery and the required collection.
  • The Sealy bed will be taken to the room of your choice where it will be fully assembled.
  • All product packaging will be removed and disposed of or recycled responsibly.
  • You will be asked to sign for your delivery, usually on a hand-held device.
  • Up to one hour after delivery, you will receive a call to ensure that all has gone as anticipated. If it has not, the delivery crew can be sent back if necessary.
  • Once the old product has been removed, it cannot be returned if you choose to use QVC’s 60-night money back guarantee.
  • The ‘Take Back’ service is a “like for like” operation. If you order a mattress only, the crew will only take away an old mattress. If you order a divan set, the crew will take away the divan bed base and mattress.
  • If you have a wooden bedframe, this will need to be dismantled ready for collection and removal.
  • The crew cannot dismantle wooden or metal bedframes themselves whilst on your property.

 

I’ll be on with the great gardeners at 9am and 10am and then diving into bed at 11am. The shows are always really busy, as a great night’s sleep is worth a fortune, and there have been many occasions where we have sold out of many options at 11am.
