Things are getting steamy at the Q

Things have been busy both at the Q and at home.  I’ve been trying to fit as many outdoor swims in and we are awash with amazing offers in time for Christmas.

My #swim22 challenge for diabetes UK finishes on the 22nd October and, because I got laid up with Covid, my three months to swim 22 miles turned into more like one!  I am determined to swim the distance of the English channel, and all outdoors, so as the temperatures drop I have been doing as many shorter swims as possible in order to get there. I did a 2,250 meter swim in a lake on Sunday, with my new goggles and was pretty happy until I found I had forgotten my towel!  #wetpants!  I am hoping to raise over £200 for Diabetes UK and I’m nearly there. You can sponsor my efforts here.

I’ve been shopping for Christmas presents already and have ordered loads of things; A Dannii Minogue reindeer Christmas jumper, a Gok Wan biker jacket, some great lanterns from Bell and Howell, some fab chocs and of course my Christmas meat hamper from Althams.  There are still many more incredible offers on the way and although Thursday’s Today’s Special Value from Morphy Richards isn’t perhaps the best Christmas present, if you have any ironing to do it makes short work of that particular chore.

I have been a real fan of steam generator irons for over 20 years and that’s all we use at home and the Speed Steam Pro 332101 is a powerful steam generator iron that produces seven bars of pressure and features a large two litre water tank to ensure you can keep ironing for longer without the need to refill.  I brought some tricky clothes into work to put the sample we had through its paces. Made short work of those tricky kilt pleats and shirts were a dream. Linen was smoothed out super fast and all in all it could be the best iron I’ve used.

It’s our highest-ever specification Steam Generator iron with 7 bar steam pressure, ceramic soleplate and AutoClean function which automatically removes limescale and even though we have had a Morphy steam generator in the presenters den for ages, this one blows its socks off!  It’s got everything you need to speed through your ironing pile in no time and freshen up curtains, bedding, upholstery and more, as with its fantastic power you can steam clothes and curtains vertically. We have a great colour option, only available at QVC and from Morphy Richards direct. Its clever too as limescale is automatically flushed from the boiler – all you do is pour it away. There is no need for filters either and for added safety – Auto Shut Off ensures the iron turns off if left unused. Additionally, the iron securely locks to the base unit for easy, safe and secure carrying.

I loved it and now that its set up in presenter central I’m sure it will get plenty of use. Charlie always looks so smart and pressed!  It’s on Thursday through the day at an amazing price and with the 60-day money back guarantee, if you’ve never tried one, now’s the chance.

See you for a very steamy Morning Show on Thursday.
