Hello from sunny Oxfordshire!
In reality, I’m actually at home in Malvern writing this week’s blog, but the picture above is of me and Steve celebrating 16 years together at a farm/hotel in the countryside a few days ago.
We were so lucky with the weather. We only had one night away but the sun came out for us. Plus, we enjoyed some lovely food and a few glasses of wine too! On the Inside QVC podcast this week, I’m chatting to beauty blogger and OPI brand ambassador, Daisie Smith (above left). I loved talking to Daisie about her early career in fashion and beauty journalism, plus how she came to work with the nailcare experts at OPI. You can listen here.
I also recently recorded a podcast with Switchboard, the LGBT+ helpline. In fact it’s one of the UK’s oldest LGBT+ charities. It provides information and support for anyone in the community and a safe space to talk for anyone considering issues around sexuality and/or gender identity. I spoke to the charity’s Co-Chair Tash Walker (above right) and this episode will be available from Monday 5th July. It’s definitely one to look out for, it’s a very interesting listen.

We were also celebrating on that day Will as it was our 54th wedding anniversary on July 1st. We went to a lovely restaurant in the evening for a meal and our family raised a toast to us via FaceTime.

I live just outside Malvern, we’re very lucky to live in such a beautiful area. I think I know the farm/house in your pic, met up with my daughter for lunch in the barn, very nice 😀 x
