It’s been a busy couple of weeks since my last blog. I celebrated my 40th birthday on the 5th August, then some friends came to stay with us in Malvern for the weekend – two of them I met at QVC well over 20 years ago now!
We had a lot of fun together, plenty of food and fizz, I felt very spoilt. I’m now excited to be back at work and bringing you some previews of things to come – a bit of a fashion theme this week.
First up… there will be a Kim & Co Today’s Special Value offer on Wednesday 18th August (product number 190245), it’s a fine knit cardigan and comes in a selection of colours including Citrine (above left), Black (above middle), Raspberry (above right), Cognac, Grey and Navy.
Just before we look ahead to our fashion event, I took this picture on the last day of my 30s. Myself & Archie hiked up to the top of the hill – I managed to balance my phone on a conveniently situated rock – it felt a bit strange knowing that this was my final dog walk before heading into a new decade. Have you celebrated any special birthdays recently? What am I saying, ALL birthdays are special!!!
On Friday 20th August, Moda in Pelle will be launching the Katreena Ankle Boot, the product number will be 190126. Excitingly this is currently only available at QVC UK, they have soft suede uppers with an embellished snake print effect towards the back and a faux fur lining, a choice of Black, Dark Grey, Khaki, Mink, Teal.
Ruth Langsford coming up, but before then… Archie has been loving spending time in his plush bed from Cozee Paws. I wanted to give this a shout-out, he can be quite fussy with where he likes to chill out and this seems to have been a winner, it’s also top-rated on the website. Finally… on Saturday 21st August – the second day of our big fashion event – Ruth Langsford will be presenting her latest Today’s Special Value offer, a faux leather biker jacket (item number 190023).
This piece has a croc-embossed finish and features metal fastenings at the collar, seam details on the back, an asymmetric zip front fastening and printed lining, plus zipped pockets and cuffs.
Some great colours to choose from too, including Black, Burgundy, Cappuccino, Chocolate and Khaki.

Hi Will, I’m so pleased that you had a lovely time for your special Big Day, although I still can’t believe you’ve hit the Big 40- I think it must be a combination of good genes and the great beauty products QVC stocks. Looking good at 40 Will. Food looks lovely as does your cake. As for darling Archie – what a cutie and how happy does he look in his cozee paws bed. Bless him.
